I haven’t actually decided to; might be nice to something school adjacent that doesn’t have so many papers to grade.
Nothing admin related; that’s not my jam at all.
That’s 9 yrs away, a lot of time to decide.

100% agree.
I’m looking at retirement in 9 years, and I honestly struggle to imagine what life would be like without teenagers. They keep us young at heart.

It’s not that I don’t respect folks’ intellectual property, but IMHO eduTwitter was the best because folks shared what worked freely & w/o ugly fonts & clip art.

This is an issue at the state level in Ohio.
The legislature passed a law saying k-12 had to find ways to limit cell use in school, and the Governor has directed community colleges to embed AI in classes.
It’s not just at the local level.

In OH, the governor pushed through a mandate for community colleges to integrate AI into their classes because then they’ll be “AI bilingual.” 🤮

I love my high school kids; I can never understand those folks who say kids have changed.
They’re just as sweet and goofy as they were 27 years ago when I got started.
I hope we all see peace at some point this summer; teens need folks who love them as teachers, and we need some peace to recharge.
