Stunning! What a lovely place. Thanks for taking the time to share them!

I did write either help or feedback and said I had removed it and that it had been there for some time and had to do with waves and not with resistance groups. A while ago they had me on a mod list for accounts that were over 90% cat content and I contacted them and they did remove me.

This isn't an individual, it is BlueSky API. I am on other block lists by individuals which I do ignore. Also, if you block the individual who created the list, you are dropped. This one specifies that blocking them does NOT remove you from list.It is automated and picks up emojis and certain words.

What do I need to do to get off of that list? If I don't hear back from you, I guess I'll go ahead and report it so I can figure out how to get off list. I am not part of those groups. Thanks, Betsy Cooley

I'd like to think it either of what you suggest, but in reality I think it was mostly pure luck! Thanks!

Interesting! There are times when they'll catch larger fish or small animals, but most of the photos of seen of birds flying with prey in their claws it is usually raptors (I think). Shorebirds I've seen feed along the shore, in the water and marshes.

That's a good word for it. Some time ago the Mallards had 13 ducklings. (For context, these lily pads and baby mallards are right below a cypress tree that the herons and egrets inhabit.) Each day there were fewer until there were none. It was very disturbing.

Except possibly for the baby ducks if the Great Blue Heron noticed them. (Good day for me, I love seeing them.)

I think you're right and am quite certain they'll be happy to be back home where every wish (almost) is accommodated if at all possible. ๐ป

Thanks, Carole! It is major surgery even if they do release you the same day, so it is a huge relief that it went well. Sorry about the osteoporosis in general, but also too bad that it would interfere with surgery. Hope all is well with you and your cats and dogs!

Yes! It was dead low tide and it had been looking amongst the pools of water by some large rocks. It decided to move further down the shoreline to another area which also has rocks that might have some crabs or other things to eat. It isn't going to dive like pelicans, but will land and look around.

It helps that they've known each other since before birth. I was really happy to find the place. Last year I thought I'd keep them at home and have someone come in to take care of them, but at the last minute hunted for a place. It worked out really well. We'll be very happy to see each other!

I think they probably do. There was one summer when I used to see a particularly large GBH and I would them him along the shoreline and in a tall, wide cypress tree on the other side of the complex where I live. S/he would turn around, look at me and it seemed it was thinking, "Oh, it's just her."

A physician at Thanksgiving two years ago had had both of his hips done as had his wife and they raved about it. I did some research and found a wonderful surgeon at Kaiser who only does that version of the procedure. They have a great set up and it went well.

This one has separate rooms for however many cats the clients have (with some limits I'm sure). In this case, they have an 80 sq. foot room, several little houses with beds and shelving on two sides of the room they can climb on and it is a corner room with 2 windows. I brought some of their stuff.

Yes, they will be very happy. They've been in a cat hotel for almost two weeks and are coming home on Thursday. I thought about keeping them home, but I needed to be able to do the sorts of things necessary for a successful outcome. I can't wait to have them home, again!
