Thanks! I believe @junkfoodgames.bsky.social is participating, too?

Yeah, I love Ash's collab projects (Tiny Library series, etc.). There are a lot of ideas flying around in conversations. I had a bit of trouble keeping up last week, but I've been putting words to paper this week as I shape what my hex will be and that's exciting.

I'm working on a project that @long-tail-games.bsky.social is facilitating for a group of 52 designers. An exercise in design collaboration. A system neutral TTRPG resource. A book of 52 hexes operated by a deck of cards. A deck crawl. Each hex is a combination of 2 themes. I have friendship + hope.

Thanks! It was fun to do the collage and once I knew what I wanted to do with the finished collage it just kind of fell together.

I made a Nat Geo collage bookmark and, inspired by a convo about lyrical games, put actions on either side... open to use and interpretation, or not. So it's possibly a game and definitely a bookmark. I'm bringing them to the ALA library conference next month where I'm working the gaming grove.

A reminder that it's a small world after all! I'm sure this came up when we chatted about @alagamert.bsky.social a while ago (I was working at Naperville Public Library at the time), but if so, I'd forgotten. Anyway, small world!

Greetings, darling! Evelyn Virginia Winifred Ulrich, a Connected Galant of the Order of Weavers who Turns Tales into Reality. But you can call me The Fabella. /bows
Here's an album of my character journal and trinkets. I like having physical touchstones for TTRPGs! photos.app.goo.gl/gktYFkq6X17p...

So far I've been using a cheap pink rubber block to carve on. They are 4x6 inches and I can cut down to the size I want. Pink erasers also work and I'll try those next. To carve, I'm using woodcutting/linocut tools (Speedball is a popular brand). And you can use a stamping ink pad for small stamps!

Since I'm starting a new hobby, I figured I'd document as I learn. Letters are tricky to carve! This stamp is for the tabletop gaming group I run with my partner: RNG GAMING. I wrote/drew the letters by hand & could use some practice with consistent size & spacing. I also want to try font tracing.
