i keep seeing people say that LLMs are good at search. NO. WRONG. You have just forgotten how good search used to be. Google broke it's own flagship product, and so you are accepting a demented chatbot's half baked gishgallop because we no longer have functional web search.

Sometimes you use state-of-the art weather forecasting tools to predict a tornado, drive 500 miles to go see it, the forecast is perfect and then you can't see because the view is completely blocked by a mountain. At least I got this cool photo. #wxsky #stormchasing

Very concerned by “Y’all Watches” on weatherwise… the idea that these are areas that the weather service may be considering warnings is not OK. There is a substantial risk for confusion with weather service products. Add that our watches are not short fuse polygon products. That is warnings.
