At last check, we had near top of the league (top 3) numbers of high pressures and a relatively high number (top half) sprints are staples of his system; both correlate strongly with injuries.

I’ve run these numbers to look at them in a slightly different way. Plan to post them over the weekend.

Thank you, Robert. I really appreciate the many kind words you’ve shared in support.

Whatever happens, I support this club wholeheartedly & unabashedly. Though I’ve been here just a short time, I’m proud of where the club has come from & where we now stand in the footballing world. I believe in Tony Bloom. Future is Brighton! Up the Albion! #BHAFC 5/5

The impact on goal difference was obviously profound. Ultimately, I’d say the more recent loss to Brentford, given that’s the team we’re trailing on GD, was at least as impactful on this final battle as well. A draw from that one has us on the inside track to 8th (3 points up on 9th).

Thank you, Robert! It’s been a busy spring, but it’s always great to be back on AO.

Yes, we have 13 first team players on international duty during this break.

Can’t lie. I rate Wharton. He’s a quietly difference-making player with good instincts. Looking forward to it as well; hoping we can steal 3 away as y’all did from us previously.

I’d missed your earlier post. Great minds, indeed!

Hürzeler would have to go 21W, 10D, and 24L in his next 55 matches (that’s a 38.2% win % and a 43.6% loss %) to fall to the exact results of RDZ. It’s a small sample size, but it’s a significant gap in results. The higher win % and the dramatically lower % of losses create that immense divide.

That the goals for and against numbers are as good as they are within the small sample size that includes that Forest result is all the more impressive.

To be fair, it was brutal in large part because they managed 3 goals with just 2 shots on target. If we can’t say we’re due for a win, then surely we can argue that we’re due for at least a bit of luck in this fixture. — Cheers for all of y’all’s great work! Up the Albion!

This shapes up as a 2-1 or 1-2 score line as the most likely outcome. My gut tells me that our Seagulls finally break the curse of Fulham. With that in mind, the math leads me to a 2-1 result, though my gut shouts 2-0 for #BHAFC. Up the Albion! 5/5

Despite that, Fulham has been a high performer away from home, sitting 6th in the away table with 22 points earned in 13 matches, scoring 20 and conceding just 15. #BHAFC is 10th in the home table, earning 21 points in 13 matches, scoring 19 and conceding 15. 4/5

Despite overall good form, Fulham sometimes struggles to score and/or produce a high volume of chances. In this PL season they’ve only scored 3 goals twice, both at home, including a 3-1 victory over us on Dec. 5; in that match they produced only 6 shots w/just 2 on target. 3/5

Fulham sits just one point behind us and immediately below us in the table. Brighton has won 8 of the last 10 matches in all competitions, while Fulham has won 7 of 10. Both teams feel that Europe is within reach via the table & the FA Cup, w/both in the quarterfinals. 2/5
