The number of renter households spending more than 30% of their income on rent + utilities rose by 2 million in just three years to a record high of 22.4 million. It has DOUBLED since 2015.
Access to food thru SNAP and basic health care with Medicaid need cuts for top 20% to get wealthier?

Turn on for 5 minutes, even though I knew better, and ended up furious.
Beyond stupid and misleading. Try having on someone who understands economics and revenue collection. Or even reads GAO reports.
Not pundits who pretend trickle down economics and austerity still has merit.

Was stupid, misleading and cowardly. Krugman is right.
the wealth of the 400 richest Americans has climbed to equal 20% of US GDP, up from 2% in 1982.
1) Cut $1 trillion to DOD - we are not at war - to what it was in 2007.
Stop unfunded ghost wars + bailouts to banks for bad bets.

They have always, at their core (AIPAC as well) been a conservative extremist org.
Willing to extort via collection of information or heavy handed innuendo.
They feel empowered by right wing MAGA to mark “enemies” for defeat via character assassination.

Expert on Poland and Hungary autocratic transition.
How people join forces to fight back and disrupt the slow moving coup.
But with a Project 2025 systematic flood of destruction, the impacts are in the thousands and need to be relayed to voters.

TRY focus on OTHER horrors they have hidden in bill.
Ex., Section 70302. The undercutting of Judicial Branch
I know you think voters can’t understand complexity.
Just say “DJT hates our American 3 branch system of checks & balances and bill will make them toothless like in Hungary”.

These politicians, many nepo politicians riding on the name of a daddy➡️ $0 tax payer provided health + pension benefits.
Pay for it out their salary (cannot be voted on by them) increases only tied to rate of inflation. And documented work tracking 50 weeks a year. Same paperwork for Medicaid.

So Liberty University, which receives federal money, will have a government sanction overseer to stop “ideological” discourse about creationism group think too.
Right?

As I have been saying since December, Dem states need to create regional collectives to plan for and manage what the federal government is cutting.
Then reorganize their tax, salary/benefits structures. Starve the beast of their Homeland surveillance + DOD waste $ and priorities.

You know what else is in the bill? A new way to relive the deregulation and speculation designed crash of 2008!
Your Genius Act is obscene, and why a lot of Ds will stop donating, and in my case a no vote (a soon to be resident of NJ) for this corrupt and obvious crap.

Would you call the 3-5 million units of affordable housing construction required “non-manufacturing”?
Let alone the modernization of commercial and residential real estate needed to contract climate induced destruction?

“Trump shows so little interest in what his agenda may cost future generations”.
The Republican Senate is perfectly happy with destroying our nations prospects of a productive future for the immediate influx of cash for the chosen few.

Well he certainly is being aided in his misguided and clueless decisions by equally mendacious Senators.
Section 899 will destroy international investment, which they “claim” is needed.
But they want cash generating schemes, not jobs.

NY politics really is going backwards to a time that makes Democrats just look dirtier and more corrupt.
If they need to lose their power in national decision making because of it, might be time for the shift.
I am ready for some clean, public focused, straight talk mid-western thinking.

Taxpayers will also be expected to cover the next Wall Street gambling and money laundering schemes.

Trump & MAGA & Heritage are about inflicting cancel culture on people, ideas, language, art, discourse and research.
Time for it to be the headline with the press because there is nothing more unAmerican.

You guys have the ability to fight using this as a unified opposition? Most of us have our doubts you have the courage to fight to end the $1 trillion for DOD waste.

No taxes for the “creators”.
No regulation for the “innovators”.

Watching two billionaires argue about how to dismantle government + tax collection to improve access to food, housing, healthcare and opportunity for millions.
Both manipulate the angry, distrustful & distressed working class to change the way our nation fundamentally works for their benefit.

Now moving to suburb for a job where I will have to get a car. If I had kids still, I would need a bigger car. It will need to be parked not in snow.
Study SCAG, # of commuters which is tied to affordability & RHNA avoidance. SB 79 will help.

Developers will offload this to city if not required. They ignore demand and create scarcity; ex. demand for multigen housing.
We have a design/affordability + refusal to build/invest in transit problem. We all study other countries, but US refuses to change.

We got here after unending “cut taxes for the wealthy”, abdicate tax gap collection, unfunded ghost wars, DOD out of control pet projects.
All while IGNORING infrastructure until it fails.

Right place, right project. Data to know # of auto drivers in a community must be tied to # of spaces available, if there is no funded transit option.
Transferring it from developer cost to a city problem does not solve the problem.

Have you ever walked thru a working class, poor neighborhood of overcrowded, unimproved rental apartments? Where folks have no close access to transit, so must each have a car to get to work or walk dangerous traffic miles?
Where lots are full, streets are jammed and even park on front lawns? Where
