Wait. There is an “anti-trans science” journal. Is this like the pipe dream that a certain climate denialist keeps promising to put out?

The Board of Governors is the overarching authority over all NC public universities from Chapel Hill and NC State to the HBCUs like Pembroke State (dating myself there). Not just Asheville. And they’ve been trying to kneecap their programs at UNCA for a few years.

Somebody needs to tell the BoG that DEI includes veterans and first generation students. And wait until they see what was hanging in front of the library when I was visiting my alma mater last time.

I’d expect more random assaults of protesters if that was the case. They’ve had some training to deal with protesters. And I’m not sure the Jan-6ers have the self awareness to be capable of that at such short notice.

The NYT says he was shot in a “dispute.”
All that was missing was, “and how this is bad for Biden,” or, “we talked to people in a rural Alabama diner who told us how they should have had the dog on a leash.”

Darryl literally was just fact checked by a Ukrainian with a Palestinian flag in his handle regarding Russia. Apparently some Susans are more equal than others.

You’re pretty naive here. If you think the Chekist state that is Putin’s Russia is as live and let live with Russians speaking out against them living abroad as you imply, I have some polonium laced tea to sell you. Likewise as some with students from the PRC, Iran and other states that exert /1

Has there been a professional society our problem domains that’s been going the Pawl Weiss Law Firm approach? AGU and AMS have their statements out. ASCE moves slower but their CACC committee last I saw was working on their’s.

And I bet none of THEIR Middle Eastern & South Asian students are being targeted with local threats for being little ayatollahs (one, an Iranian, is despearately seeking asylum), TdA/MS13 rapists (really!), w/ one nearly deported for "bad driving" (in SD!). The shoes can't possibly be on other feet.

Can you say with the same level of public candor and honesty that Al Qaeda or ISIL is responsible for a “fair portion” of anti-Islamic bigotry? Because I don’t buy that line when excusing bullying Muslims in western countries either. There’s always another Susan around when Mary is out of reach.

And apparently they’re inspecting our timelines to make sure every tweet is about them and their preferred cause(s)! I mean seriously. Even my teenage son knows better than to demand that I only talk to him about Warhammer 40k 24/7.

Awww. A zoomer doesn’t understand why everything isn’t about him. Sad. Even my kid gets why I won’t discuss Warhammer with him every minute of the day.

Sorry. I don’t read off overgrown teenagers’ scripts. And you’d see me associating Israel with war crimes off this very OP if you weren’t just pretending to want to see such statements.
Again, grow up.

Gee. My timeline is mostly focused on science(specifically climate and weather) policy because that’s why a big block of us in the science community joined BlueSky during the invite phase. And now of course my timeline isn’t to your precious liking because it’s not all about you.
Grow up.

When one convenient target was an Anne Frank memorial, you don’t get to call it billsh!t. 🙄Meanwhile there has been a history of vandalized “Zionist” *cemeteries*. www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcn...

(God I miss the BlueSky invite phase) Read my back thread, ‘human’. You know, the comments I wrote that you “liked.” And then explain how I don’t think that going after Jews on Pearl Street is an act of terrorism. 🙄

They’re paying a price for being Jewish, not for Israeli war crimes. If John hits Susan from reception because Mary from accounting reheated fish in the office microwave, nobody is going to be saying there’s something about Mary. This is John’s problem.

Nah. You didn’t come off like that at all. 🤙 Given some of the responses off the Gov’s statement here, though, WOW! It seems I’m now a closet Zionist who “worships” Israeli consulate security! Either you read off their scripts or your a “zionazi.” Some people need to go back to Twitter.

Biased towards genocide. Wow. Lost in the sauce. Seriously? Were the targets just eggs for the hollandaise for an even bigger omelette? I think we both know that if Denver had a consulate the terrorist would never have dreamed of hitting an Israeli asset. Any excuse, and any Jew, will do.
comment in response to

Uh. How is it not? While there’s no consulate in Boulder or even Denver, I think we both know the terrorist would never have dreamed of targeting an Israeli asset. This was about an easy attack on Jews on Pearl Street.
comment in response to

“Counter-political?” WOW. You said that. They were targeted in a premeditated act on folks calling for people who were kidnapped not from occupied territory but Israel proper, not in support of Netanyahu’s genocide. If your mad at Mary and hit Susan, don’t expect to be called an “anti-Maryist.”

And Boulder (of all places!) isn’t the Zionist playground the apologists, whatabouters, and butters here think it is.
comment in response to

This was about going after a soft target. Boulder is an unapologetically progressive community. If you’re mad at Mary and hit Susan because she’s closer and is less likely to sent you to a hospital, nobody is going to call you an “anti-Maryist.”
