more from @inthesetimes.com: "And when a state labor leader observing the raids got swept up in the brutal immigration crackdown, it sparked nationwide action by labor unions against federal raids, detentions and deportations."

I can confirm the misleading and downright crazy answers one can get.
I asked if the Labour government was a socialist party, it said they were.

3)accountable for his blatant attempt to bully the court in defence of Israel
That he had been caught red-handed in an attempt to pervert the course of justice.
Via his actions, he has joined:
a small group of unsavoury world leaders who have menaced or bullied the ICC.

Expect "DOGE" will want to know where all the DEI & Net Zero initiatives are.
This is not about efficiency, it is about imported ideological attack on council budgets.

Post revolution there was competition between secular and Islamic wings for control. The war waged by US proxy Saddam helped the Islamic wing in consolidating its power.

Yes, Iran as it is today is at least in part the result of US policy.
US organised a coup in the 1953 to overthrow its nascent secular democracy in favour of a corrupt shah.
After 79 revolution they tried to reinstate the Shah & when that failed they set Saddam Hussein on them.

How long until we have Americans seeking political asylum in Canada or Europe?

Not unusual to have a bit of fisticuffs at there events.
Those marchers won't all be from Whitehaven. People travel around the country to participate, usually a Scottish contingent present.
Personally I think of it as a celebration of bigotry.

And we should be proud that we offer that 4% sanctuary from murderous regimes and persecution.

Windscale or Sellafield? They used to swap the names around to dissociate from bad publicity.

Last days of twitter I would be swamped by replies to a post supporting trans people, "Bill can't tell the difference between a man and a woman."

I have no doubt you are right, just day dreaming lol.
I originate from the far North of England and always felt more culturally close to Scots than Southern Englanders.

The English/Scottish border has not been historically static.
If Scotland won independence, I think I would like to see the border redrawn to take in the North of England.

That sounds like raging communist, Marxist propaganda.
Its almost like you don't want people to make billions for making and selling arms.

He has a long record of antipathy to the NHS, as he has for public services generally, and has advocated for it to be replaced with an insurance based system.
Probably at or near the stage when NHS could just be switched over from state funding to Insurance. Opps for new profit sources for insurers.

It will advance the slow death by privatisation that every gov since 1979 has contributed to. Enabling the growth by contracting out of a for profit eco system of providers.
Nigel Farage, should he win the next election, stands ready to deliver the final blow.
