Wait wait... Back up... Why do we want to shoot values now? Is shooting stuff the goal? I thought not shooting stuff was the goal.

when I see people post things like this, I wonder what they know about how government actually works. Like are they expecting for Democrats to call a hearing that they can’t call? Are they expecting them to sick the FBI on somebody as if they have that power?
comment in response to post
Yes those are all things they can do. But those aren’t things we would be seeing them do now like this person seems to be expecting. Even telegraphing their plan to push back now would be a mistake.
comment in response to post
That's a weird thing for someone who took offense to someone not accepting their opinion as fact to say.

He would have lost too because he was unfit and everyone knew it.

What do you expect the party with no power to do?

Nothingā€˜s gonna happen to them if they don’t comply

Probably nothing

This is the test to see if the administration will comply with court orders. If not, we’re in real trouble. Well they’re probably in trouble anyway.

They might carry it in KC grocery stores for some reason. But it’s really a St. Louis thing. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Provel_...

Yes

Of course they can. But it's a long and difficult process. And it almost never involves presenting the correct facts. It's also an emotionally driven process that makes the cult member feel loved and safe enough to see how they have been fooled.
comment in response to post
People in cults are driven by emotion, not logic. Their identity and purpose are tied to the cult, so facts won’t change their beliefs. Emotion always wins over reason.

Provel isn’t a KC thing. Provel is a St. Louis thing. Other side of the state.

Thanks for sharing. Echoes a lot of how I feel about the current state of documentary filmmaking

too bad the Supreme Court already ruled that official actions by the president cannot be illegal. If they aren’t illegal, who needs oversight?

That's what Huey Li said on Tiktok. I think that’s dead on.

That’s not what they meant by not as bad. They mean on a population level not an individual level

That seems ambitious

I have enough friends that will be sharing political stuff that it’s not all going to be invisible. I just can’t have a feed. That’s all politics all the time like I had a couple days ago.
