Because apparently nothing is currently happening.

He posted that it was a bad idea, basically.

FWIW the memorandum deploying the national guard has not yet been published on the White House website or sent out to the press pool. But I presume WH reporters are talking to sources about this and it’d be helpful to know the legal authority invoked in the memorandum

Violent mob rule *did* overthrow the Constitution.

And you spending your time rebuking me helps anything how? πŸ˜‚

The first step is to get fellow liberals to believe it. Then we can work on the rest.

So we aren't a democracy then? We are an oligarchy of nine?
comment in response to post
Ultimately the only thing stopping it from happening is people not wanting to do it. Laws are a fiction that we all agree to abide by. It's far more fragile than you appreciate. It has happened elsewhere, it can happen here.

πŸ˜‚ OK, sure buddy.

πŸ˜‚ Please try to figure out how to fit the definition to what I'm saying, it'll be very entertaining.

That's not a conspiracy or a theory, my dude.
comment in response to post
Could be. His orders are still illegitimate.
comment in response to post
What conspiracy theory have I presented?

Are any of us?
comment in response to post
πŸ˜‚ OK, I'll tell my boss I'm a bot.

This is delusional.

SCOTUS isn't sovereign. They have participated in the coup.
comment in response to post
No, they did not. I have seen the claims and they're all bullshit.
comment in response to post
Beliefs guide actions. You will take different actions if you believe Trump has legitimate power over you than if you don't.

In what way is it "hope" to say that the office is held by someone who isn't qualified for the office and who is wielding its power to destroy the country?
comment in response to post
They haven't posted that though.
comment in response to post
Ok lol
comment in response to post
Read the 14th Amendment.

They're all wrong.

Why? Power originates from us. Decide he doesn't have power, get others to make the same decision. Eventually it will become true.
comment in response to post
No authority is necessary. We can all collectively decide it is so and act accordingly. Congress doesn't need to declare anything. He doesn't need to be found guilty. We watched him commit insurrection on live TV.
comment in response to post
SCOTUS is not sovereign. We are heading for civil war anyway, you're just in denial.
comment in response to post
He isn't, and needs to be confronted as a traitor who has seized the office illegitimately.
comment in response to post
What's insane about it, specifically?
comment in response to post
He did. We have zero indication otherwise, at all, period. He failed to qualify for office under 14AS3.
comment in response to post
I ask again: why are you so upset about me correctly saying Trump's power is illegitimate?
comment in response to post
πŸ˜‚ No such thing as Constitutions breaking down temporarily or permanently? Study some history pal.
comment in response to post
You are making a choice to give him power. Make a different choice.
comment in response to post
What is power? Where does it come from? All of us deciding he has it allows him to have it. You saw how the initial DEI EOs worked? He doesn't formally have that power but people fell over themselves to comply.
comment in response to post
Yes, this is about everyone who isn't Trump.
comment in response to post
We are in a constitutional interregnum. You may not recognize that, but we are. Ask yourself why you are so worked up about defending Trump's power.
comment in response to post
Nope. The fact that Congress failed to object doesn't make it legitimate.
comment in response to post
What do you have a problem with specifically, .Net Software Engineer?
comment in response to post
Section 3 of the 14th Amendment applies. Why do you accept Trump as your legitimate ruler?
comment in response to post
There is no president according to the Constitution. Time we stop pretending there is.
comment in response to post
There is no legal order. Choosing to follow Trump's order is choosing to follow an illegal order.
