Because that's what you do when a bully is hurting people. It's not about winning. It's about showing that the opposition is all talk and no bite. And when they do bite, they're as weak as every other bully. One hit, and they'll fold.

I'm with the many voices asking the general party to embrace a new tactic Get your loudest people in front of a mic and camera as often as possible Get Buttigieg out there. Get AOC and Crockett talking about the issues The American People need to see you fighting for them even if you'd lose

It doesn't matter if there's nothing to do legislatively. Seeing you bare your teeth might feel beneath you or like "Going down to their level", but that's where we are right now. We can't join you in "We go high." They have brought us low regardless.

Hello Senate Democrats! I think a major problem for us Democrats is that we don't talk about what we're fighting for. Win, lose or draw.

Dude made more money dying in the back of an ambulance than I do in a month. Being a CEO is a pre-existing condition, claim denied.

Brian Thompson made over $10 Million a year. That means if his ambulance ride was 30 minutes long, he made somewhere close to $2400 **dying in a fucking ambulance**.

did he ever consider he's just anxious? He should have tried sleeping more.

Surgery probably would have taken longer than the approved time limit from insurance. Claim denied!

What kind of story do you want to tell? Draw from emotion, good or bad! What are some stories you loved reading or playing or watching? Don't avoid tropes, they are super common for a reason Don't worry about accidentally copying either

It's still baiting for anger and finding it funny when people...get angry. What's even worse is that it also encourages others to pile in on those angry people, spurring more anger. But sure. Make me a pamphlet.

It wasn't harmless fun for a lot of people. Look at the replies. Those "Snowflakes" and "Woke" comments aren't being typed for funsies. They're baiting for anger. It's only fun for those who think being a dick is fun.

P much everyone on bsky is just sick of the type of post you made. Even saying "Oh it's parody" doesn't save it. That's been used to gaslight so many people that it's basically impossible to know if something is posted "as a joke", in good faith, or as a ignorant take.

The worst we interact with are just bullies and there's really only a few ways to beat bullies that actually works Depriving them of their fuel Depriving them of their spaces Or a dedicated long term effort of re-education toward empathy...except instead of being children they are men between 18-45

#MensMentalHealth I leave this thread with my favorite men's health clip:

#MensMentalHealth But for those that we CAN help, we should. If all emotions can be infectious, empathy and kindness and gentleness can be too. We can be there while they fall down, and still help them back up. Cause that's what good men with good emotional intelligence do. We be there.

#MensMentalHealth We can't fix what made them turn toward anger. Nor can we get in the way of when they realize their mistake. It's going to be hard from all perspectives.

#MensMentalHealth Some examples for outlets you can do with your bros: Community Gardens/Farms. They always need help. Charity sport functions Building stuff for community theater productions Literally any public faire or event or festival needs bodies, and they are a great way to connect.

#MensMentalHealth Help them find outlets, and try to be the listening ear. Redirect toward positive results they can see. Easy example? Getting fit. Lifting weights and getting strong is great, but having a purpose that also SHOWS strength in a healthy way is even better.

#MensMentalHealth How? By being emotional with them, and being the brothers some of them didn't have. This will be hard, but we have to. We don't shame, we don't "gotcha". We ask them leading questions toward an empathy based conclusion Engage with their *emotional* responses

#MensMentalHealth A huge part of right wing politics is isolation. Their talking points, their anger, their ideology is literally made to create "more lonely white dudes" by forcing them away from positivity and toward a group of people who will love them for it. We can subvert this.
