Naive question, but can someone explain the problem with the Genius Act? I have no doubt there's corruption involved, but I'm ignorant of most things crypto. And of course, big media is treating this news topic as neutral, with little objection to its passing the Senate.

And if you're not, you should have an accessible path to become one. (As crazy as that sounds)

"Pushed too hard on certain culture war issues" sounds a lot like: "I want people to say nothing in the face of injustice and oppression"

And we're really not sorry. They are domestic terrorists. I don't care if it's your family member or a friendβ€”anyone still working for ICE is a bad person. Full stop. #abolishICE

This is horrific. We need to keep the pressure on lawmakers (who are BREAKING the law) and shut this down, once and for all.

This is so blatantly false, it hurts. Unqualified people who lack fundamental understanding of U.S. laws are being rewarded for their ignorance with flashy titles. The good news is, my impostor syndrome is at an all-time low these days.

This. I'm sick of the self-righteous attitude so many people have toward those who are suffering. How does blocking access to health and safety measures help humanity in any way? Why not take care of each other if we have the means to do so? Our focus should be on healing others, not judging them.

I'm ready to stop talking about the tariffs and start talking - incessantly - about how Republicans members of Congress are aiding and abetting Trump in abusing the people, the country, and the law. Never forget that. This is only happening because they have allowed it.

I've been saying this, too. At a certain point, money and power become an addiction. They're willing to destroy the entire planet and move to the moon just to see numbers they can't possibly spend go up. It's actual insanity

I've never been confronted with this level of gaslighting, denial, deflection, and fabrication in my entire life. It's constant. I don't know how much more I can take. Living in the U.S. feels like drowning under an ocean of lies.

Americans are literally having babies in other countries just so they can actually get healthcare. That says it all.

This has been happening for years now. Since at least 2016, when a judge ruled immigrant children don't have the right to an attorney unless they pay for it. Here's an example from 2018: www.texastribune.org/2018/06/27/i...

MAGA's problem is that after they hear "I'm not a doctor," they keep listening. #measles

Good. Glad we're finally defying the bullies in the White House. They need to get the hell out of the way while the rest of us actually help society.

To be fair, the post is "read the book," not "watch the series." Great writing, and Scientology-free.

They're going to regret taking away DEI. All these rich straight white dudes will have no one else to blame for the incompetence..

These are AI generated, clickbait headlines. Scam companies want you to click to go to their site, but are too cheap to pay for a person to come up with the enticing line. "Larry Bird's repulsive wife" is one really good example of how AI goes wrong.

These assholes are so tacky. This is supposed to be his esteemed colleague. They're both supposed to serve and protect their constituents. One is doing that, and the other is playing with pictures on Twitter. Cringey and sad.
