Big Willy Shakes is clearly in my family tree.

Dustin may have nailed it - it's under "VAR Review" right now. Explains why it's taking so long. 😂 bsky.app/profile/geor...

And I guess we get to the crux - foreign government owned football teams are a *really* bad idea - and corrupt to boot. Who's next - Newcastle?
comment in response to post
If they do, then the Premier League is 100% corrupt and cannot be trusted. Who knew? But if Citeh can get away with it, why can't other teams?

You can almost smell the grease being applied to those wheels from here...

And yet Everton and Forest. Slapped with the naughty stick quicker than the speed of light.

Ah - ah - ah - George... 🤣

That's a good point - Accessibility may be the only way around it - but at what cost overall? The other option - and it isn't the best - is to stay on the current version of whatever OS is in question. Some hardware won't take the new system anyhow...

About as lickable as a Nintendo Switch cartridge. Leaves about the same taste in your mouth as well. 😂

Sadly not - it's baked into the OS. Be that iOS, iPadOS, MacOS, tvOS, watchOS - you get the idea.

Got a rotavator. Scared to use it for exactly that reason. 😂

Had a bit more of the wet stuff this end. Hasn't stopped the clay garden cracking like an over made up face though.

A case of history repeating...

Fans don't want to deal with him either, frankly. ('scuse the pun)

You missed one. For quite some time, we had a goal difference during the season that was second only to Liverpool. Obviously the final few games dealt a death blow to that stat, but it was a fact.

Europa League games really didn't do any favours - adding to our final tally of 61 games for a season. At least there will be fewer in the CL - just wondering what will happen with the cups though. Drop the league cup and stick with the FA Cup? Or ditch both. How about getting more player in. LOL

Add to that the crazy amount of matches we had in December as well - that was one crazy as hell two month period.

I thought the teenagers were admirable, especially given the task that they were at the time. It could have been so much worse than it ended up. Not sure how many other teams would have survived as well given those circumstances. And you're absolutely right about last minute signings. Piss poor.

"Levy simply could not ignore a 17th-placed finish in the Premier League table and a record-breaking 22 defeats." He should have spent out on a rotational squad of ready players then. Investment in the future is all well and good, except it's in the future, and not now.

Well researched YTber. Who knew?

Agree. Block, mute and filter and the world becomes a better place. Not perfect, just better.

Now this has happened with Spurs - what else is coming, who knows? I just hope I get to support Spurs going forward as I can’t see any other club I’d want to support. 2/2
comment in response to post
I’m a more recent Spurs fan, having started my support in 2016 with Poch. I came from being a Reading fan where the Chinese owners and their propensity for stripping clubs pushed me away. I could not support that in any way, and moving away was like breaking up with a long term partner. 1/

A description like that needs no further comment. 💪

Same to you and Box fella - hope it gets much better than the weekend has been. Got LOTS of beer to look forward to on Friday night, so there's that.

You set up two... One for the actual collection. The next one is set for the next day with the self-depricating comment "You didn't pick up the prescription, did you?"

Monday is the bastard child of the week. Always there, spoiling things and generally being a git.

I would suggest setting a reminder on your phone - but you've already done that, right?

I’d prefer it if they sacked Daniel Levy…

Oh I dunno. We’ve never seen Rozzy and Dudley in the same room at the same time. That’s kinda dodgy…🤣

Sorry to hear that you had to go through all that man. That is most certainly not cool. My best to you and yours.
