Emailed a bank to give them the heads up that theres attempted fraud with an application someone opened (been going on for years) Bank replies 3 days later telling me to call the fraud department. Like thanks guys, alerting you to fraud and you cant even forward the mail internally.

There were a lot of erroneous assumptions on Monday, but the bizarre "something is going on, the man pulled from the car doesn't look 53" shouts were probably the weirdest, as if 53 year olds are all wearing M&S cords and golf jumpers. (Tbf I'm still stunned Derek Hatton is kicking 80)

Slightly niche q but is it possible to hire garden furniture for a house party in the Liverpool area? I know I could buy some for fairly cheap but I'd only be using once and it would be wasteful. I know you can do it on a big hospitality scale, but can you do it domestically?

I was out and about all Monday so only briefly on here and while there was rightly condemnation of right wingers on Twitter *wanting* the car driver to be a terrorist, there were a lot of people here who feared it was a terrorist and while their motivations were different, they drew same conclusion

Things people have been "animated" to me on BlueSky about: -A throwaway comment on Lulu only having one hit -The original/current line up of Sugababes not being as successful/popular as the one with Heidi But at least on BlueSky it's easy to cut off their oxygen with an effective block function.
