It is - I’ve got a few Robot cameras and the earlier ones take a special cassette like the FT-2 whereas later versions took standard 35mm cassettes. This was Robot’s solution to load the proprietary cassettes. It’s made of Bakelite so pretty brittle

I thought I’d found a possible solution for this when I bought a Robot branded film loader but unfortunately it’s the wrong size and would be tricky to modify

I think we had the conversation as to whether three would be too many 🫣

I’ll be interested to see what solution you come up with. I’m just glad I got these before the price skyrocketed.

Excellent, I’ll definitely be interested in some and rather serendipitous as I’ve just unpacked these two beauties

That must be a relief - I’ve had it before on a couple of my Leica LTMs and it’s been down to me 😏

A classic lens - I’ve got an early silver version. Lovely lens to use

She is and so are we.I had a rheumatoid arthritis flare up just as we moved and couldn’t do anything much for the first week or so, so it’s been great getting out. I saw the consultant today, two lots of blood tests and a chest x-ray as they’re not sure what triggered it. They joys of getting old

I ended up freezing some for the first time - not quite sure how to go about defrosting it but I’ve got plenty to use in the meantime

Sold out before I could order some but no bad thing as I’ve just unpacked the film from the house move and it’s filled the fridge

I bought a fair bit from the same seller on eBay, a charity, so I guess they must have had a load donated. Some interesting stuff - £60-£80. The 70mm stuff I’ll use in a 70mm Hasselblad back that I’ve got

The plan is for 5x4 - just need to get a rig set up and a temporary dark room
