I actually think the dems should attend the SOTU, wait till the 2nd sentence, and then walk out en masse, that'll do it, there'll be no address, he'll just have a meltdown on national Tv

Take your bonus days. My college kid had no afternoon classes so I said let’s go skiing on a random Thursday afternoon. A lot of things suck right now but not that. Nothing lasts forever, not the good stuff or the bad stuff so grab as much good as you can because that’s what gets you through.

I just keep listening to Sleigher by @actualbenfolds.bsky.social It’s just become the soundtrack to my Christmas this year. Amazing how many times his songs have been exactly where I was in my life. Underground hit me hard as a piano player who wanted desperately to be cool.

Only Monday and everything sucks. Instead of going all in on doom, I’ll post this. My college kid got a couple of extra days off thanks to 4 ft of lake effect snow (hello Erie) and my mom taught him how to make baked Alaska. It was fantastic.
