It is/was great. (That second to last episode. OMG.) There’s a good interview with Paul W. Downs on Conan’s podcast that you might enjoy.

That, and also ball point pens are horrible, greasy, inferior writing implements. (That’s my left-handed take.)

Oh man, I was hell on phone solicitors.

Oh no. I can just imagine all of the possible outcomes of this. My puppy is a year and a half and I still try not to tempt fate.

I was a volunteer at the Lindsay Wildlife Hospital, and they have an extremely active baby bird raising facility. lindsaywildlife.org/hospital-2/

Yeah, this is us - and we’re all convinced that we’re the rebels.

My daughter (22) and I both really enjoyed “Thelma”, on Hulu

My daughter was born three months early and, although she’s 22 years old now, I am often angry about these decisions for NICU parents

I’ve gardened for years and honestly most of it is battling pests who seem to become craftier with every season. Also, I’ve had bees for the last 20 years and mostly sell honey to my vegetable growing friends and buy veggies from them.

Have you met beekeepers? They can be pretty eccentric weirdos.

It really paints a picture and is easy to grasp. As someone who lives in the West, the idea of wasting water is really maddening.

Yes, that was reasonable. I’ve been thinking about how reasonable Nixon was lately, too. Arghhh

The description that I read, where every time you ask ChatGPT a question, it uses a bottle of water put it into perspective for me.

Yes, he’s held up as a “reasonable Republican”, but he was just the worst.

I’ve known a lot of eighteen year olds, and very few miraculously become adults at that age. A very “Reaganesque” policy change.

You can just remove the little plastic piece that blocks the flow. (Or you could in the early versions of low flow shower heads)

I found this by searching for “Long Covid”

There’s a Long Covid Fights Back event that is virtual that I saw listed.

My daughter is in the middle of transferring and in contrast, one of her potential schools has a guest coming to talk about how to do civil disobedience.

It’s unbelievable. And Amber is such a lovely person. I hope that this cowardice is addressed on this week’s show. My family and I are huge fans.

Not applicable in this case. This is a super blue county in a relatively recently red state. You might want to pay a visit before you lump it in with the rest of the state.

Thanks for the clarification. Tomatoes are really easy by seed too, if you plan ahead. I like growing different varieties, so that’s my ideal growing method. I do like the idea of cloning for multiples of the same variety though…

So, it looks like you're cutting similar to the way that you prune a tomato plant. (These are the little sprouts that form just above the leaf stems?) I've grown a few plants and it's nice to know that you can start the prunings.

I think that people don’t understand how many federal workers live in small towns and rural communities. USFS, BLM, BIA and other forestry groups are our largest employers in my rural area.

This is so clear and easy to understand - also makes a good organized checklist for calling your reps, plus the number is listed. Perfect

This is a fantastic very early nectar source for pollinators! It signals the possibility of spring where I live, to walk outside and hear all of the buzzing.

Yes, it finally cleared up the question about my daughter’s coverage. I was born pre-57, had measles, so I’m good. She was born in ‘02, so she’s good too.
