Everyone who fought for the Confederacy is dead. But people who defend the Confederacy now?

Remember when the US SCt said money was speech? But 5 of them would qualify that now.

@ossoff.senate.gov please start publicizing this now

Agreed. It’s much less consistent but one character arc in particular is very charismatic, moving and speaks to why and how arts touch us. Some of them are too formulaic quirky and not as good of a role for some of the actors as in Maisel or Gilmore

Etoile definitely improves as it goes.

Yes, anyone who thinks permitting reform is only going to permit the good stuff at the federal level is misguided. CA is tinkering around the edges with only reform for the good stuff.

The inclusion of Oracle here is suspect (also, there is no support for it in the article). Ellison is a Trump supporter.

And lies in every appearance and threatens the employers of any journo who asks what he deems to be an unfriendly question.

But, no use yelling at dead people. The bill in the Senate is still an open book.
comment in response to post
Those are two more Rs we can’t runs ads against that they supported the bill. Because they would have if the Rs needed them.

so I guess fact checking this just means did he say it, not whether there is any likelihood that its true.

that is so specific.

Now that Kemp said he's not running, it's more of a question about who the opponent will be.

R's appoint R's because they aren't constrained by optics. Dems appoint R's to show they believe in the system. Obviously he's going to appoint Hur or the other prosecutor who went after Hunter Biden.

And named "White", just for good measure.

Wow. I have had to get a new child psychiatrist every time we change health plans. No one will take any prior diagnoses and does the whole multiple meetings followed by questionaires all over again each time, and then monthly psych meetings to continue.

It's articles like the NYT that legitimize the idea that single visit treatment occurs (for trans kids, for ADHD). Obtaining and maintaining a prescription for kids for ADHD is extraordinarily difficult!
comment in response to post
Maybe. And some journalism sources always write the same story every few years.
comment in response to post
As a parent (and a spouse) to people with ADHD, I can't count the # of people whose takeaway from NYT's articles is "have you tried no tv/no sugar/exercise/more sleep/etc" and my understanding is that even ppl w/diabetes have combo and adjustable treatments. Don't know any dr who says otherwise
comment in response to post
Don't forget that Musk and RFK Jr hate these meds and diagnoses also, and are "just asking questions". I can just from the beginning see the framing of the study is unmoored from how the meds work and are Rxed. For kids the meds work for, it's an amazing benefit and you know right away, w/no harm
comment in response to post
oh jeez, I was tired so I missed that it was a NYT link. The NYT writes about ADHD medication the same way it writes about trans issues. Always the same "questions" and always from a viewpoint that the increases in diagnoses must be bad for kids and families. Here we go again.

Thanks for this. Broken link though.

For a guy who seems to have been quite strategic in how he planned the speech (1000 pages of binders! ketosis!), the lack of strategic follow-through or admission about any long term strategy is striking.
