Here's the US president publicly justifying Russian terror attacks to the world, because Ukraine defended itself from Russian terror attacks by destroying their bombers. Sickening.

Looks like debris hitting the power lines to me...

But Russia is free to ship in North Korean weapons and mobilize as much as it likes right?

The majority of Americans did not vote for Trump, less than a third did. Unfortunately, more than a third could not be bothered to vote, or their votes were not counted.

Psyops. Now the invaders have to worry about every fallen branch exploding in the woods they hide in.

I could be Russia, an islamic attack, or just a disgruntled Everton supporter. Wait and see.

He did. He said "He is doing his country no favours by talking the way he does. Everything out of his mouth causes problems, I don't like it, and it better stop" As if Trump calling Zilensky an illegitimate leader and a dictator doesn't cause problems.

The US is not interested in defeating Russia. It is certainly not interested in helping Ukraine - unless it makes their president look good. In fact America would prefer to help Russia achieve a quick victory so they can make trade deals and help Russia destroy the world faster.

That livery shows off the F-16's area ruling rather well. Weird to think this aircraft design is 50 years old.

Russia is in favour of a peaceful resolution, all Ukraine has to do is surrender and be wiped out.

If Trump sides with Russia, with America unwilling to supply weapons, financial aid or intelligence, what 'cards' does Trump hold to coerce Ukraine to do anything other than America openly supporting Russia against them?

Where is Americain this? Didn't Trump agree that no cease fire meant fresh sanctions?

It looks for all the world like a small diameter bomb with a glide kit. The revised GLSDB maybe?

So America can be bought for the price of a small piece of real estate, for your president to display his name in gaudy gold letters and run his corrupt businesses through.

Seek peace by rejecting all attempts to reach peace. Got it.

I'm gonna have to give Trump credit for remembering to breathe in and out, and remembering to do so is a great detriment to America and the world. Sheesh. If Trump took a dump on the floor of the oval office, Republicans would praise that.

Take the Russian chart and divide by two, more or less.

No he can't. Ukraine's and Russia's delegates need to meet, America can send a qualified envoy to mediate if they like, but it really has nothing to do with Trump. America is a supplier of materiel, not a participant.

Putin - Trump talks will go nowhere, Trump will sit there like a starstruck teenager and lap up everything his idol says.

Trump has a spiritual advisor? Talk about screaming into the void.

It is definitely going into combat. It's being used to transport shells and mortar rounds. Sadly it will be taken out with a drone. Hence trying to fit a jammer.

I don't like this at all. All I can hope is that the deal contains a clause that the Americans cannot help but break, a clause that works to Ukraine's advantage. Otherwise you've just sold your future to the devil.

Trump treats his strongest ally like a criminal and criminals like royalty.

A gift wrapped F-16?

You have Trump away from hos MAGA entourage. An opportunity to stop 5000 people a day dying and the world spiralling into global war should not be missed. That is why it was suitable.

That could also be phrased as; "China wishes to exploit Canada's economic difficulties due to the US trade war in the hopes it fosters a dependence on Chinese supply lines".
comment in response to post
You're not going to save lives by destroying all conventions and security apparatus that have kept global conflict at bay for 80 years. It's going to lead to WWIII by giving the green light to dictators to change borders by force, and not only face no consequences, but be rewarded with trade deals.
comment in response to post
You have missed it happening, Trump has replaced America's tripartite democratic government with a Russian style Duma of corrupt oligarchs and incompetent sycophants.

Why is there a list of conditions? Just one condition is needed, Russia stops attacking Ukraine, that's how a ceasefire between an aggressor state and a victim works isn't it?

An odometer has one function, to show the distance traveled, it needs one data source, how far the wheels have rolled. Predictive algorithms? Why the heck would an odometer need that?

Given the resistance to bringing him back, I fear this man is no longer alive.

I remember a meeting last year between Trump and Zelensky, where Zelensky asked Trump to come to Ukraine. Trump answered 'I will' then turned to the cameras and talked about himself while Zelensky stared ahead with a look of WTF on his face.

What's with the random capitalization of words and phrases? My 'team' is not a proper noun, does the president of America not know English grammar?

So, wine and dine the Russian delegate, treat the president of Ukraine like dirt and throw them out. America's alleigence is laid bare.

For not signing an agreement that would give America ALL of Ukraine's natural resources in perpetuity, to say 'thank you' for aid already granted.

Because the shittiest people in America are in power.

America sent Ukraine TENS of billions of dollars worth of ageing military hardware, America then used that money to build new equipment. All America got for it was their main geopolitical enemy taken down for 1/2 a percent of their military budget. Yeah, totally getting ripped off.
comment in response to post
Do you really think it's a dilemma for Trump? The whole world can burn and he will never admit he was wrong, his fragile ego won't allow it.
comment in response to post
Are you kidding me? Netanyahu has committed genocide, Trump has threatened military action against Panama and Greenland, and to top it off wants to ethically cleanse Gaza. War mongers is what they are.

Fixed it for you: "a CON MAN with six bankruptcies is talking".

Yeah, how dare Ukraine defend themselves, it makes Trump so angry. Unreal that we are here but we are.

A truce at sea for a country without a navy? How does this benefit Ukraine?
comment in response to post
We know it is a genocide but we cannot call it as such because according to the 1969 Genocide Act we would be compelled to act. It's sickening.
