Didn’t EVERYONE expect Trump to be on the Epstein list?

Disinformation campaigns from foreign governments via bots is very common, and this is exactly the tactic they use to create and spread internal fear.

Harassment is unacceptable in all circumstances. But let’s make sure we aren’t causing more strife than facts support. There is no evidence that actually ties the Conservative Party or PP directly to this increase. Most of these harassment reports are from online, suggesting it could bots.

Welcome to Canada. And many other western countries. It’s only through continued ignorance that Americans live in a society where these issues have to be highlighted.

“But the wealthiest Americans still had mortality rates comparable to the poorest Northern and Western Europeans.”

Unlawful acts require action and lawful enforcement by the proper authorities. In the case of the executive branch, the proper authorities are the courts and Congress. Get with the program, do your job, or get out of the way to allow for someone more competent and willing to do their job.

Great story, really pulls you along with the character’s journey. Loved the ending, really nicely described and somewhat unexpected, in a delightful way.

Fake. That hand is far larger than Trump’s actual hand.

Sorry you are overqualified by the standards set of the previous CEO.

I miss those terrible days of Biden-era economic growth and market optimism. #trumpsterfire

This election showed Canadians don’t want to be subservient to the Trump administration. Let’s not allow our political system to become their system. Multiple credible political parties make us stronger. Support political diversity.

If isolationism was a successful strategy North Korea would be the most wealthy, most powerful nation on earth.

Here in Canada we don’t accept “human health for profit” schemes. Same for most progressive countries. Statistically, wealthy Americans have a similar lifespan to that of the poorest Europeans. It gets much worse for poor Americans. Sorta wonder why anyone in America thinks this is acceptable?

Non-stop stream of people at my local polling station all weekend. Democracy wins when people vote.

Guns don’t kill people. People kill people, sometimes using guns. The underlying reason is more to do with societal norms and culture than access to guns. Address those fundamentals and you too can live in a safer world. Canadians have plenty of guns, we don’t have a gun violence problem. Why?

This trivializes the real reasons for gun violence in the US. Owning guns is not a problem, as we know here in Canada. It is more about society and culture, and less how people vote.

I think you meant “serfs” there. Billionaires will continue to do just fine during this period of “economic winning”. The rest of us will become their indentured servants.

Fascist dictators will eventually come for all of us. Not for the same reasons, and not at the same time. But they will come for me and they will come for you. That is the only thing they know how to do.

Due process is a constitutionally protected right. Strong arming people or institutions you disagree with is not.

Maybe he has something to hide? Don’t get conned by the CONs. They are t going to help you or your family.

Nothing is special enough to risk your safety and freedom. International athletes would be well advised to skip travel to the US these days. Same for non-athletes.

Why yes, it is making America great. Greatly depressed, economically as well as morally.

Was there ever any doubt Trump would do such things? None. What are the other two branches of government going to do about this abuse of power? “Checks and balances” used to mean something.

The numbers are already showing significant drop in tourism to the US. Those small (and not so small) businesses are going to suffer. Some might go bankrupt. Unfortunate side effect in order to win.

Don’t rely on national polls to decide whether to vote. National polling doesn’t indicate how each MP candidate will perform. Get out and vote in your local riding. Get your Liberal candidate elected. And protect Canada from the dangerous policies of the Conservative Party.

Strict time limits on open seats would help. Even healthy people have been known to die in office.

The CBC (public broadcaster here in Canada) recently did a piece examining this issue. Worth a watch to understand the situation. youtu.be/uuO-wvDjSp8

The federal government should take that $43 million back. Simple and fair.
