Conservative media destroyed the culture and then collapsed the political composition of the state. Once you have one party rule and state media there’s no incentive to build, invest, or even plan for the future. Things just kind of molder and rot.

The problem with immigrants is that they’re Americans.

You can’t save a country from itself. A near majority of the country are fascists and are fighting for what they believe in.

I nearly drank myself to death from grief and anger in 16/17. The tragedy of that election really got me, watching people change and changing myself. But we’re all different now and they choose it this time.

Captain Planet villains with bad combovers, stained shirts, and cigars laughing about clear cutting an old growth forest to build a golf course seems about right to me now. I used to think they were playing it up so we’d know who the bad guys were.

You can use the fear to power your hate and rage. Take Yoda’s advice and think only of revenge.

Getting the right answer and knowing things are intrinsically liberal desires. The right wing process would start with the conclusion and request an argument.

The house I grew up in was bigger and had more amenities than my fathers childhood home. The same is true for my generations children. Right? We had air conditioning and television, but not internet and only a single land line. Remember picking up the phone and hearing someone’s conversation?

I used to wonder why dictators didn’t make the numbers look more plausible. Fascism, I’ve learned, is a purely emotional state of mind. The numbers have to make him feel good, but they don’t have to make sense.

You dance the dance that’s in your heart and she likes you or she doesn’t.

Ford had the model T to balance out his legacy. Musk will only be remembered as a destroyer.

I think this is the only take that makes sense.

I’d abolish the advise and consent clause in the senate. That would have prevented McConnell from stealing court seats. I also think making sure the president is the winner of the popular vote would be essential, but that would require bigger rewrite.

I don’t know any right wing voters who don’t know exactly who this man is, what he’s done, or what he intends. It’s cope to say they don’t know, but they do. They like it. They’re for it.

The break comes, I think, when he asks the party for their support to run again. If they give it, and I think they will, it’s over.

I think for these guys, evil is a kind of ideology. It’s like an incel getting red pilled after a breakup and turning to pickup artists for a new identify. Except it’s traditional ideas of morality that refused to put out.

Their freedoms end where ours begin. Once you understand this everything they do makes more sense.

It was something that happened in movies, but pretty hard to believe ever happened in real life. Until MAGA and Trump I met anyone who’d disparage military service or troops.

Sure, nobody ever intends to find out. That’s why fucking around has such an allure.

Media pressure could break him, but it would be a defeat and submission rather than strength.

His sadism and criminality makes him strong. Righting a wrong would make him weak. Strength in MAGA-speak means conscious evil.

They’re both manly sounding ideas though. Big dicked economics can always succeed if pursued with enough vigor.

That people sell their souls came as a shock to me. That people sell them so damn cheap is something I simply reject for the sake of my sanity.

The curse of knowing one big thing is that the take of the day never changes. Bad for content generation.

Considering how these people acted during COVID I’m not worried. A guy who can’t wear a mask can’t fight a war.

I’d add court expansion to the list of must haves. TvsUS can’t exist. It’s not compatible with any lawful order.
