Terrible night on Connections, going bust on two games in a row... But luckier on Wordle. Also 2nd night in a row that Wordlebot reported I had "...a decent opening word, and a distinctive one! (Today it was played by only 0.1% of players.)"

I was going to do 1448 between 11:00 and midnight after a long drive back from North carolina. I, started it got interrupted, and didn't notice that the time had expired. So I quickly did the new puzzle... at least I tied the Wordlebot

According to wordlebot, that third word of mine did eliminate all but one word. It just took a bit of staring for me to figure out what it was.

education, sloppy thinking, or sloppy sign editing? Possible flawed thought process: "They told me we accept 'metal cans', but then they told me we don't accept aluminum cans, therefore aluminum isn't metal!"
(Instead of concluding, "therefore we don't accept *all* metals")

Montgomery Regional recycling mentions steel and aluminum by name, but I suspect its single stream sorting equipment has a problem with thin aluminum trays and foil, so they are out. Optical scanners also have problems reading numbers on black plastic.

I think this did benefit from waiting until after breakfast to do the puzzle. The bot says there were 655 possible words after my 1st move, but only two after my 2nd. I, luckily, only thought of the less common of the two. Wordle 1,431 3/6*
