My guess is in story his hate for Roman is larger then his hate for Reed. But I would say punk makes more sense for the og bloodline then Reed does for the new bloodline

And getting pinned to lose the match. Garcia gets up and celebrates retaining the TNT title. But instead of the crowd cheering him he is getting booed Garcia gets frustrated and rushes to the back.

The match stars off with the crowd favorite Buddy Matthews laying out both Garcia and Bailey. As the match progresses Garcia starts to take control before Bailey drills him with a spin kick. Near the end of the match Buddy takes out Bailey before getting hit by Garcia’s finisher.

After a month long build the match takes place Buddy Matthew is looking to win his first singles title in AEW in front of his home country, Bailey is trying to win a title only a month into his AEW run and Garcia is trying to beat the odds and retain his TNT championship.

Leading to a draw. Bailey and Buddy start to argue about who gets to face Garcia at Grand Slam when Garcia comes out and says he’ll face them both latter in the night the match is made official for Grand Slam.

Until Bailey hits a dive to the outside leaving both men down. The referee starts to count he gets to 9 as both men slide back in the ring. the 20 minute time limit is almost up when Buddy hits a stomp and goes for the cover but Bailey kicks out a 2 right as the time runs out 1/2

To even the odds this puts Garcia back in control until Don Callis starts to distract him. And right as Fletcher is about to drill him with a screwdriver Mark Davis comes out and attacks Fletcher setting him up for a pile driver by Garcia to win the match.
