Honestly hoping they don't pull a Lyse and lock her in Tural.

Cid is also amazing bi rep. I rest my case.

If anyone whines about Dion because he's gay rather than his (IMO) underutilization in the story and the lack of him as a proper party member, I'm gonna just disregard any other opinions they have.

Also, pretty much everyone agrees the Titan and Bahamut fights are the two main highlights of the game, fortunately. Not because they're long, mind you, but because they like to mix things up with Eikon combat.

FF16 was amazing, yeah. People who complain the game is too easy haven't even touched the DLC stories, which are challenging even on standard mode... let alone the gauntlet after you beat those.

Shin Megami Tensei, 100% however. Super fun combat + buffs and weaknesses are everything.

Pokémon's main problem is that IMHO, outside of the Battle Frontier and arguably Legends Arceus, it doesn't utilize its complex mechanics to the fullest. Even postgame trainers can be oneshotted by a single high-leveled 'mon if you outlevel them with a speedy 'mon and/or use prio moves.

I love AoE tankbusters.

Yeah, hence the question mark.

When you do that correctly, Cerberus will be lured to you so he can eat you, and then you're brought into his belly where you bust his stomach walls while random flimsy Hecteyes monsters attack you.
Once all the walls are gone, he flops over and pukes(?) you out, allowing him to be chained.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
The final raid of the only MSQ-required alliance raids has you fight Cerberus, who's based off the same-named boss in FF3 and has a mechanic where he coughs up slobber (traps you) and tummy juice (shrinks you) in different places.
Shrink first, then go in slobber.

It's actually true too if you're DPS.

And can we also bring up the icon from when you fail the Ozmashade gaze mechanic?
comment in response to

Tbf, you can get away with doing if in any alliance nowadays as long as you aren't a tank, I feel. Probably best you do it as any DPS, in fact.

NEWS FLASH: GAME HAS AI SLOP
comment in response to

And good on ya for reporting that. We need more of those people in the world.
comment in response to

Also yeah, whoopdy doo, CEO's suck. And the sky is blue.
For the record, not a lot of us buy games with supporting shitty execs in mind - and it's why piracy is perfectly viable too if it's really that much of a concern because at this point, every game CEO sucks balls.

You literally said the game used genAI and that Steam allows it and now you say it doesn't.
All games that have used AI on Steam are *required* to disclose it, lest their game get deleted if it gets found out there's AI slop in the game.
Palworld was found to have none of that.

The tutorial itself is highly likely to be Sora vs. the Darkside in Quadratum. No if's, and's, or but's. And we probably meet (Data-?)Strelitzia soon after.

Most likely it'll be part of Mickey's whole segment - he's the one exploring Scala and everything, and gameplay where you play as him has already been confirmed.
comment in response to

I feel as if Palworld was made with this question in mind: "If cute, magical creatures were exposed to unchecked crime, military-grade weapons, religious fanatics, cops, and scientists not following regulations, what would happen?"
But a lot of people go "haha Pokémon better with guns"

Honestly, if you're making vids showing off your base and team and funny shenanigans, cool.
It's another thing to blatantly misrepresent anything Pocketpair is doing as "MIDDLE FINGER TO NINTENDO UMG"
comment in response to
post
Oh, ew. Kinda figured they were just looking to start shit.
But yeah, that whole comment about FFXIV dying is blatantly inaccurate post-Cosmic and especially post-Crescent.
comment in response to
post
Don't get me wrong either - what Nintendo is doing with the Switch 2 sucks HARD, and Palworld is 100% being unfairly treated (and unfairly worshiped, to be frank) by many.
I just simply think this is a VERY blatant misrepresentation of FFXIV's current state... especially when you consider the date.
comment in response to

Simply put, this pattern WILL continue till 8.0. See ya then.
comment in response to
post
Meanwhile, FFXIV also drops Occult Crescent and Cosmic Exploration. Players go up. See a pattern here? Almost like when players see new things, they change games among the Big Three(TM).
comment in response to
post
To clarify, FFXIV isn't "dying" per se - it's going through a patch lull that literally EW also went through (remember how lull-y the Thirteenth arc was? And people complaining Manderville relics and dungeons were too easy?).
Reason being? GW2 and WoW also had crazy drops. So the flow goes there.
comment in response to
post
7.1's lull is long gone, buddy (Occult Crescent DID recently drop and DAMN, not to mention Cosmic and the story's overall improvement). This happens every patch cycle - almost like that recent Josh Strife Hayes video didn't hit the mark for you.

Malsh Walsh made that the entire premise of his "documentary" (read: propaganda film).
Notable highlights include putting sleepy music over and editing out a perfectly legitimate answer by a professor, the ending being Walsh's wife struggling with a pickle jar, and "ADULT HUMAN FEMALE" droning.
