I sometimes do something similar with the alphabet: choose a category and go through the alphabet and find something starting with that letter. vegetables: asparagus, broccoli, carrots, etc

Hmmm... as I understand it, you can send your blog post only once as a rendered RSC, and not send the javascript instructions to render the component as you would with a client component. This seems like a bandwidth saving to me.

Love the fun word! I'm afraid it brings 80s music vibes for this GenXer, though, and it's not as clear what the course is about as your others (CSS for JS Devs, Joy of React). On the whole, I'm probably a "nay" vote.

I would totally apply but I can't tolerate spicy food. Too bad, it looks like so much fun! But I literally can't take the heat. 😂😭

I know of one other Bonnie Schulkin — the wife of a history teacher of a college classmate. Cleaver status: unknown 😅

I will say that I was able to make a living off my Udemy offerings for a couple years, and that was pretty sweet. So I’m grateful to Udemy for that. I also like Udemy’s low barrier to entry: it was easy for me to publish a course just to see what would happen. 😊

I’m also not thrilled at their current AI initiatives. I’m not sure how much I’m allowed to say publicly, but there are some pretty severe consequences if you choose to exclude your material from their AI engines.

I tried to talk to Udemy about it but they made it clear they weren’t interested in my experience.

Hey, Doug! I was at a point a couple years ago where I was able to make a living from my Udemy courses. Then a huge name in the Udemy React space published a competitor to my top-selling course, and it was game over for me, pretty much instantly.

True story: I’m infamous for getting to parties early. Many years ago I forced myself to go to a party half an hour late. Everyone was going to be so proud of me!
It was daylight savings. I was half an hour early.

Watching tv or reading in bed. NYT crossword (also in bed 😁).
But by far I get the most value using it for music charts. The iPad is way more portable than binders with paper, and the charts are easier to locate and share.
