Except under his last administration mspb was suspended (no nominations were confirmed preventing a quorum) and only returned to a quorum in 2022 (I think). I know at least 1 member’s tenure ends this year, ending quorum. Not confident it will continue but that’s my opinion.

For now it’s the program managers on leave but…your question is exactly what all of us that could be considered DEI hires are asking.

Also the new word for good old boy system. Merit-based does not mean earned or qualified. Just look at cabinet picks.

My son & I were discussing how we should best navigate this new world and continue to protect and affirm his trans friends. I’m so heartbroken.

I welcome a honest, fair, & civil discussion and laws on data privacy. But I don’t support targeted bans that don’t actually address the problems but are about control.

I’m not saying the risks aren’t possible. But they didn’t stop the data gathering on SHEIN, Temu, or Alibaba. They didn’t stop the sale of data by meta or x. They banned Americans from a digital town square to share news, ideas, and organize as a community.

I wish you success. I don’t know how I feel about all of the new social media apps in development but I do hope they are successful and not killed by the oligarchy of America.

Guess he’s the sellout. Greed corrupts and absolute greed corrupts absolutely.

The National Security threat is not that China could use our data, it’s that TikTok was the modern town square exposing the corruption, greed, and propaganda of our gov’t leaders. And *if* it is saved, it will be with strings attached.

That’s disappointing, but interesting. Are other American expats having the same experience? Give Olive scritches!

I got it in 3. According to wordle bot my second word eliminated all but 3 options and I guess I had a lucky guess in the third.

Seriously considering. I haven’t really been on FB or Insta but there are those times when I’m looking for something specific that’s posted there (local shop posts, some groups) and so I go. Doing my research to find those things other places so I can cut that cord.
