Picked up a PS5 today, as a "next generation" console I'm not feeling it. There isn't really anything here thus far making me feel like there's enough of a jump like I did from PS2-PS3 or PS3-PS4.

I've been working on a #MongoDb #Realm db replacement for the last 6 months. Today I have finally got to a point where my sync works in #dotnet #maui seamlessly. CRUD works fine and today linked objects also update in real time. The sync is between Mongo and #litedb.

Yesterday I completed the first phase of my replacement for MongoDB Realm. Realm is being deprecated in September so I need something that I can use going forward with dotnet. Iteration 1 is to have a static mapping which allows me to send data back and forth from the live database to my app.

1400 original games now catalogued with probably another 30 to go, on my way to 1500. Have every Sega/Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft console (except PS5/Xbox Series X/S, Virtua Boy and Sega 32x) now so the collection is slowing down. Really proud of what I've managed to collect so far!

Considering a PS5 / XBox Series X. Seriously shying away from XBox due to recent developments I've heard of with them basically porting everything to other hardware and PS5 having console exclusives.

Today my daughter has been watching Bing. I have no idea why Flop has oven gloves that are human sized but hes a stuffed teddy and then we have a different episode where they talk about not filling in holes until you get permission. Like a teen, I sniggered at that one!
