Agreed Jon but It's going to resonate with people because some people of an older generation will think they grew up with 2 genders and they grew up "ok". Its like elements of the generation previously who grew up thinking racism was "ok". Its not for government to rescind peoples rights though.

Have a focal point by all means (ie if you do most of your programming in a single framework) but don't restrict yourself. Certainly explore and experiment with others and be prepared for changes in the ecosystem.

Where they have their place, sure they're useful. I don't use them everywhere but there are reasons behind this and they are all derived from their limitations

Been there. Stopped trying. It costs more money when I try my own DIY and when my wife tries to help me we don't talk for about a day afterwards. We're an absolute clown show at DIY.
