Saw him on Rachel. Looked like he wasn't prepared for the sun. I'm amazed how these all these guys seem to have no idea of the realities of everyday life.

Thank you for this.

I really didn't believe (10 days ago) this could happen. Need AOC and Bernie to do a Social Security Tour. Soon.

At the same time we are trying to turn ourselves into computers. Chip implants? Smartphones being replaced by smartglasses with interactive screens? All done in the name of efficiency and productivity. How did we become so fearful of our humanity, our emotions?

Consumer confidence is the most important economic driver. Anyone remember in 2001, when things were shaky (because Bush had deliberately undermined consumer confidence as part of his election strategy), the Bush strategy for stabilizing the economy was urging people to go out and buy something.

Getting more overt about sabotaging future elections.

This is who we have instead of AOC.

I'm trying. Google is overwhelming sometimes.

Where does your 300 billion number come from? Not doubting, but this is a great soundbite and I need to see it for myself. Thanks.
comment in response to post
Good, but it is time for AOC/Bernie backed candidates to appear and get familiar with their future constituents.

Need to consider who is hurt and losing. Trump is absolutely right that a little short term hardship will result in massive wins. Problem is the hardship is for workers, and massive wins will be for billionaires.

A political party is infrastructure. Ballot access. Brand and all things that go with it. State organizations. Networks.

It is something like musk taking over twitter.
comment in response to post
have to break the mold. 5 million voters is more than enough to take over an established platform. This musk simply buying twitter. And as for splitting vote, do you really trust this democratic party to win anything as it is now. Sometimes Greens with back dems. Sometimes reverse.
comment in response to post
This is brilliant. Thank you for getting it said on network television.

income America through social, economic and environmental justice. Need a completely new platform. Take over Green Party. Influx of 20 to 30 times current Green numbers, break 2-party system, and present a real choice. Current democracy/political system is beyond repair.
comment in response to post
Absolutely correct. Need to restructure political system. Trump has finally driven the stake in the heart of this zombie democracy. Need to redefine "progressive" and progressives take over the Green Party. Definition of Progressive - working for the betterment of working class and low inco

Saw you. Great. My demo is geriatric. Solution: AOC and Bernie and maybe 20 more take over the Green Party. Currently 235,000 voters. AOC group would bring 5 to 10 million. Takeover. Platform: True national security through social, economic and environmental justice.
comment in response to post
Yes. Run against Musk. He's actually the real opponent.
comment in response to post
Time is short, but advertise the amount of money Musk is dumping into the race to buy another election.

Suggestion to really change narrative. Bernie, AOC and maybe 10 to 20 "progressives" take over the Green Party. It has 235,000 voters/members. Takeover would have 5 million in two weeks. Platform: True national security through social and economic justice. Current 2 party prison unfixable

We all need to start planning to support a primary challenge. Schumer will have AIPAC and Wall Street, and probably even a few million from Elon Musk). AOC (or whoever, but I think AOC) will need support from all of us.

The problem with trying to imagine a disinformation campaign against Trump/Musk/MAGA republicans (and even most republicans) is that it likely isn't disinformation.
comment in response to post
Strikes me that Trump, with his fawning love for dictators and delusion that they love him, actually does not believe that Russia and China are threats. So he weakens us while they watch and plan. Maybe they will even reign in their proxies to add to Trump's delusion. And we are isolated.
comment in response to post
Tough question to ask if you are serious.
comment in response to post
The structure exists, and "Green" is not as unpopular as you might think. Take control, rename a little if you want, and focus.
comment in response to post
I don't agree. Only 235,000 green party members. If progressives bumped that number to 5 million, control would change. I am somewhat confident of that because - from the outset - we would be looking for Putin influence.
comment in response to post
There is a way. Greens gave us Bush and Trump. Time for change. It has 235,000 members. If AOC/Bernie and 20 others switched, it would have 10 million in a month and be a viable platform. True national security through social and environmental justice. Making life better for everyday folks

Dems have accepted the Repub/Trump Waste/Fraud/Abuse ("WFA") narrative. Actually WFA is much greater in private corporations than in the federal government, and the main WFA in fedgov is linked to large private corporations. Dems keep letting Trump set the narrative.

Perfect example of need for clear definition of "Progressive." Progressive is working to better the lives of the general populous and working in community. Gives a foundational anchor. The opposite of Progressive is selfish and self-serving. The Paul Weiss capitulation is the opposite.

Her silence really disappoints me.
comment in response to post
Agree it wasn't stolen. Maybe given away, but I think it was bought. One perspective is that all elections are bought, but this last one felt different. Trump appeared to name his $ price to various individuals and groups, and they bought him.
comment in response to post
I'm skeptical that the democratic party, as currently constructed, is able to harness and direct. If Bernie, AOC and maybe 20 others took over the Green Party, then there would be a new structure with revolutionary leadership.
comment in response to post
One constitutional crisis happened when congressional republicans ceded power to Trump. Broken branch. Another with SCOTUS giving Trump immunity. Another branch broken. Without three thriving branches, it doesn't work. This isn't fixable with our current two-party system and their baggage.
comment in response to post
Good to have you out in public. You aren't a presidential candidate, but you and Bernie are the two main voices for resistance against authoritarianism.
comment in response to post
It's about time she's speaking in public. She should be everywhere. She's the only face we have that can suck oxygen from trump.
comment in response to post
The best plan would be for the "progressive" dems to take over the Green party. it has 235,000 members/voters. I'd reregister in a minute. AOC, Bernie and maybe 20 others would have 5 million in a week. Then the current dems would really have to negotiate. Current system is beyond repair.

I think ridicule with laughter is the best attack for this particular guy.
comment in response to post
We need to focus on the baldness. He's losing his hair and it needs to be emphasized. And emphasized. And emphasized. He's a fat old bald guy with a comb-over.
comment in response to post
We need to make sure the meaning of the word "progressive" is included with the mention of the word. Needs to evoke feeling of helping others and working together. That distinguishes it from Trump's "victim" narrative, which necessarily means thinking of yourself in generally self-pitying terms.
comment in response to post
what do you think of as progressive? Sacrificing and caring for others? Working together? That's what I think.
