Same situation here. Hoping to purge a full bedroom set from my house. But it started drizzling.

These people are always focused on growth instead of sustainable value. They see a plateau as a failure. Even if the thing that plateaus is a modestly or even wildly profitable endeavor that serves a purpose.

Block is a great feature, not a bug. These articles might as well be complaining that doors on homes prevent the free exchange of ideas.

This is all the opposite of what I’ve experienced. Why must politics be the point of everything? Actual productivity and engagement about other interests is great here. Users are able to join conversations they actually want to be a part of.

This is insane if you do the math and compare Bluesky to other platforms. If you prefer a constant flow of porn pillow ads and ai generated snoopys, have a ball on the other sites.

If it is any consolation, I had pie that was terrible and I threw it out. You missed BAD PIE. #kidlitchat

We had the dryer with the never-ending song at the end of the cycle. It had plastic parts that failed within 2 years. youtu.be/IAoVDOkNq3k?...

It was matter of fact for them! All my cat has ever wanted is to hang with friends. #kidlitchat

My cats turned up at my back door years ago sitting in a row 1 2 3 with the most hilarious raccoon as the third member of the party. The expressions on their 3 faces are burned into my mind. #kidlitchat

Illustrations take on a life of their own. It’s the best part of the process! Magic. #kidlitchat

These Edwards key lime pies are usually quite good for freezer section pies, but this one had issues. #kidlitchat

It makes me nervous about people seeing JUST the MS. It reads different than it plays out as an illustrated page. #kidlitchat

I had this exact idea but I want to hold on to the nicknames as long as possible. “We have real names, but our dad calls us Noodle and Goofball for some reason.” #kidlitchat

Take care! So upsetting. #kidlitchat

Occasionally something seems didactic in my MS but if you see my illustration of the person who delivers the line, you would realize it’s supposed to be funny or ironic. It’s the singer, not the song sometimes. #kidlitchat

It’s the best. Or having a running gag that gets overblown as a post-ending button. #kidlitchat

Parents rarely call kids by their actual names. So I wanted the kids in my story to have those endearingly funny nicknames parents use. And I wanted to avoid gender-specific ones. So she’s Noodle. #kidlitchat

I named her NOODLE 😄 #kidlitchat

Yes! And I am all for adding a page after “the end” that undoes the previous ending for a (thoughtful) laugh. #kidlitchat

It looks okay but it slightly rubbery upon thawing. #kidlitchat

I guess? I have one story where I have a character’s path follow pretty much the opposite of the initial idea, and it is funnier and says more than it would if I just had things go as I initially conceived. #kidlitchat

I have managed to freeze and thaw this one into a texture that is not ideal. #kidlitchat

My main goal is getting laughs, so going in a direction that betrays the subtext can be the best way forward. #kidlitchat

It’s bad. Thawed Edwards key lime pie that seems to have not weathered the process. 😆 #kidlitchat

I wrote this comparison of my Bluesky results vs. Mo Willems’ the pigeon X account last August and Bluesky gained millions of followers since then. briankirbystudio.com/the-pigeon-v...
