Mike White we need to talk real quick

👀

Canadians are on TikTok dragging Americans for not fighting back 🤭🤭🤭 They said y’all always bragging about guns and freedom but don’t do anything useful with it 🤭 (I say y’all because us black Americans have collectively agreed to not put ourselves on the front lines this time)

Crockett: I am tired of the white tears. When you compare me to Marjorie Taylor Greene or me to Lauren Boebert, there is no comparison. So the only people that are crying are the mediocre white boys that have been beaten out by people that historically have had to work so, so much harder

The “A” in DEIA stands for accessibility. Federal workers with disabilities, including many veterans, deserve respect and the opportunity to work in public service. A diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible workplace makes public service better and makes everyone’s lives better.

I just found out A.I. was used to “enhance” the singing in EMILIA PEREZ and considering how subpar almost all of the singing is in that film, that speaks volumes (ironically) about the crappiness of both A.I. and EMILIA PEREZ.

TikTok: *shuts down* Me: My shaylaaaa 😫😭😭 TikTok: *returns* Me: who r u TikTok: Your shayla Me: mmm nah seems sus bye

Vaseline-Covered Trump Reverses TikTok Stance After Getting Into Skincare

They absolutely buried TikTok in a Pet Sematary because what was resurrected was NOT what was laid to rest. We’re about to find out that sometimes dead is better, real quick.

Zuckerberg/Meta launched Threads as an alternative to Twitter/X, capturing a largely liberal userbase unhappy w/ Musk's management. Now that Zuckerberg is supporting the Trump presidency, his replies on Threads are just a deluge of dunks. It's like someone creating their own personal wedgie machine.

it feels like TikTok got bitten by a zombie and is hiding the bite

I had very few concerns using TikTok while it was owned by ByteDance I have a lot of concerns if it's owned in total or part by a US company

After the Los Angeles fires, house cleaners, gardeners and dog walkers won’t easily be able to replace clients built up over years

What’s the difference between a gov controlling an algorithm, silently eliminating reach for things it doesn’t like, vs the same gov using its power, to demand that the platform remove the things it doesn’t like.? In China they are overt. With TikTok in the US, they control silently

You are showing your entire ass by calling TikTok “a dancing app” in the year 2025

I know this sounds really unreasonable, but maybe congress could pass a real data privacy law and then it would be safe to use apps even if their owners were maybe a little malicious.

It’s always a good time, but especially now, to bookmark the websites of artists you like. Maybe even have an offline list of names of folks you want to keep up with/support in your notes app or whatever. Never know what app, website, etc will be banned next. 🤡

A sad day for creativity For connection For the sharing of news & holding people accountable For doom scrollers For artists For small business For internet freedom

Still astounded how people think that the government force-closing a social network that's literally used by 170 million people in the US is just fine or even good. It would not surprise me if they go after VPNs next. They tried this already: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RESTRIC...

I’m sorry about TikTok, I know it was really important to a lot of people. It’s hard to lose a thing you really like and it’s also really hard to hope someone gross will save something

Think the TikTok ban is gonna crush me. TT has been an important space for me the last 2 years, it’s helped me understand myself so much more with all the content from the ND community. If you think I’m overreacting, then you don’t get what’s great about TT, and this post ain’t for you.

RIP TikTok. The ultimate example of the olds not getting it. It is especially ironic that we're freaking out about a foreign owned social network when we're letting untrustworthy figures straight through the door over here

There once was a girl Who lived in the forest She whispered to her best forest friends: “I’ve had a personal experience” “Wow!” they exclaimed A man she never met Miles, miles away Heard that “wow” and rose to his feet Climbed hills Crossed rivers Fought dragons Only to tell her: “No, you didn’t”

i am watching clips from the hegseth hearings and it is a goddamn insult to this country that this chucklefuck was even nominated

The Supreme Court will hear a challenge to a provision of the Affordable Care Act that requires insurers to cover the cost of preventative health treatments such as cancer screenings. Understand what's at stake: voxdotcom.visitlink.me/1xCuGx
