When we look back at this era one baffling question will be why didn't Labour move against the Tory Media including the Mgmt at the BBC It's the same as the Dems v Trump Progressives play be rules the right has forgotten long ago
comment in response to post
If only our media could produce writing of this quality and then ask Farage some tough questions He never seems to be held to account

205 test wickets at the age of 31 says his actual record isn't quite as good as Sky's hyping of him
comment in response to post
It's absolute genius isn't it Who can think paying £116,000,000 with wages +£200,000 per week for an established German international is anything other than a masterstroke Plucking a player from nowhere at a bargain price is the LFC way not using money to compete against the big money clubs

Well, as you have written it, it reads as a sad and sorry tweet that seeks to score a Brexit political point on back of human suffering and death The only thing it's missing is Dunt's bantz factor he has in his All a bit sad
comment in response to post
It's a disgusting tweet really isn't it Callous and thoughtless making this delicate topic into some sort of point scoring dinner table debate Pathetic really
comment in response to post
Making the deaths of people who are suffering or indeed those who have concerns into some sort of political point scoring linked to Brexit is disgusting Mind Ian Dunt thinks it a cause for ligh hearted bantz Shame on you lot and I'm normally in support of you
comment in response to post
Are you still shocked?
comment in response to post
Because the State should never get actively involved in the death of its citizens I'm sorry for your circumstances but State sanctioned killing is never an answer There are serious questions over the safeguarding in this bill Read what the RCPhyc say
comment in response to post
We already have the Canada situation with people calling for those with Parkinson's to be included in the "scheme" I hate to think what a law like this would be like in the hands of a populist Gov The State should never get involved in the taking of life because then it becomes normalised
comment in response to post
But he's certainly having a good old laugh about it today isihe
comment in response to post
The headline rather gives their view away doesn't it
comment in response to post
No what's rather strange is someone doing an incomplete quote to support their views They cannot support the bill because it doesn't meet patients needs and has insufficient safeguards
comment in response to post
A selective quote is perhaps worst than a lie They said they are unable to support the bill because it doesn't meet the needs of patients They also say the safeguards in the bill are insufficient But yes, you take a part quote out of context if it makes you happy
comment in response to post
The Royal College of Psychiatrists oppose this bill because there are insufficient safeguards yet a group of politicians can over rule them by under 30 votes Maybe the ligh hearted celebration like this by Ian Dunt it would be good if this was given some thought
comment in response to post
Dementia isn't a reason by assisted death in this bill
comment in response to post
Firstly you aren't special many of us have been through exactly the circumstances you describe Secondly you make the point that the reason you back this law is because of how you felt and to be frank that's irrelevant Bye
comment in response to post
Take a look at Canada
comment in response to post
I suggest you take a look at the situation in Canada and how that evolved You simply don't understand human nature and how politicians respond to it There will be plenty of votes in expanding this dangerous law
comment in response to post
As I said the world isn't how you imagine it to be Once the principal is established it's a very short move for people with dementia to be finished off Just wait till the public realises that Granny who is dribbling in a pool of he own shit can't be "helped on her way" They are going to be livid
comment in response to post
Jeez the idea that people can agree to be killed by another in any circumstances isn't "benign" As for your strawman argument it's a very poor example of that type
comment in response to post
To be absolutely clear back Once we have established that doctors can kill patients on their wishes a politician backed by public pressure will allow people with dementia to agree ahead of time or on family wishes The world isn't how you imagine it to be
comment in response to post
I'd be 100% once it's become acceptable for doctors to kill patients with their permission public pressure will push a politician (let's say Farage) to take away the safeguards you mention
comment in response to post
We will rapidly move from terminal illnesses to people unable to cope with the pain or mental depression of illness or life in general Pressure from them or families will come and we'll have facilities set up to kill people It's a dangerous law
comment in response to post
Someone who has dementia is unable to think fully for themselves Therefore they have to make the decision ahead of time The Dutch have decided there is no way people know ahead of time how they will feel Lots of people cite dementia as a reason for assisted suicide
comment in response to post
Lots of people will expect that if they get an illness that impacts the brain they will be able to consent to the assisted suicide So are we to take the instructions from someone unable to think properly? Or will the family say "it's what he wanted he didn't want to be a burden"
comment in response to post
In the Netherlands if you have any condition that impacts your brain so dementia you can't go in for the assisted dying The idea that someone at 25 can consent to being killed at 85 if they have dementia is ludicrous
comment in response to post
31% don't know and I suspect another 31% have no idea what generational unfairness is

An airlock in space is typically 1 10th of an inch thick As you are a fan of Google you can look it up Anyway you aren't any fun so it's good bye for sure now

He holds the highest rank in every part of the military. He's a Field Marshal for example He's also got a medal from the Canadian Army Now this might be a shock to you but he's not a real field marshal and he's never been in the Canadian military It's fancy dress that idiots fall for
comment in response to post
That's him in fancy dress again
comment in response to post
You seem to not be understanding the point The Chelsea Pensioners are actual veterans The person you seem to be a better person than you and your family by chance of birth is in fancy dress Anyway you are brainwashed so there is no point to this Bye
comment in response to post
Somewhat ironic that you mention 2025 when defending (on your metaphorical knees) an old man dressing up in fancy dress from the 18th century
comment in response to post
Can you let me know what Charles has done to deserve all those medals he wears Or is it just fancy dress? At least Trump as CinC refrained (this time) from the fancy dress we indulge in
comment in response to post
The parents or public school children simply need to work harder and not rely on State handouts I suggest they take up a second job in the evening such as a cleaner or bar worker If they can afford a mobile phone then they can afford the VAT
comment in response to post
All a vote for the Greens will do at the next GE is put the guy who wants to bring back coal mining into power You lot are going to be like the Latinos For Trump gang suddenly amazed that the leopard ate your face Self indulgence
comment in response to post
You could also say that everyone knew that Labour was going to win the election so it gave licence for some to vote for other parties Or the Liberal vote was Labour voters switching to get rid of the Tories Both are as irrelevant as your point
comment in response to post
No it's simply stupid
comment in response to post
Jeez
comment in response to post
If you think a Farage Government with a massive majority will be anything like this Labour Government you are truly living in a made up world that you have created to convince yourself what you think is true, is
comment in response to post
Our pension system is nothing like other countries We have a state pension, massive tax breaks on occupational pensions, companies compelled to put money into employee pensions, ISAs and flexible drawdown Sadly people, perhaps like you, don't understand it
comment in response to post
You mean the recent local elections that never happened in Wales?
comment in response to post
comment in response to post
I merely point out the fact that when you said pensioners had paid for the state benefits they receive you are incorrect What breaks society is a group of privileged pensioners with an overbearing sense of entitlement that they expect working people to pay for
comment in response to post
I suggest you look up the word "intention" in the dictionary Also an opinion poll is not the same thing as a real election
comment in response to post
That's because it's true Got to have a chuckle about a party with a record majority "clinging on" to power
comment in response to post
Farage must be ecstatic with the Greens getting that level of support
comment in response to post
I must have missed the elections when Reform got all these votes in Wales Delusional
comment in response to post
This is a ludicrous comment Let's take Wales The potential Reform voters have always voted Labour Farage needs to be beaten but repeating social media stupid hot takes doesn't help
comment in response to post
The people of the US are responsible for their leaders Trump is enabled by the voters of the US and the same goes for Congress Lots of US people saying "it's not our fault" Maybe you should have changed the ridiculous constitution that allows all this
