Read the budget language carefully…Weiner & Newsom are sneaking in a provision that would decimate CEQA oversight - terrible, especially when more & more housing is being pushed into fire-prone areas. Urge NO on SB607!!

Trump gutted FEMA grants that help communities recover from natural disasters. His budget includes even more cuts. He's also taking an axe to NOAA — the agency that warns us of severe weather. He's declaring fake "emergencies" while reducing our ability to deal with real ones.

Damn—the Senate parliamentarian has ruled that a LOT of the reconciliation bill requires 60 votes to pass, including a massive assault on federal regulations and several heinous attacks on civil service protections.
