You’d think republicans would’ve learned from this but I guess the racism imbedded in all of it is too attractive for the party that tried to make David Duke my governor. It’s like the country got a warning two decades ago and memory holed it.
Yet La. is still winnable for Dems w/ DNC investment.

And how unprepared are we?The agency responsible for being prepared is headed by a man who doesn’t know what hurricane season is?!
Katrina marks a 20th anniversary of politicizing disasters, placing New Orleanians under martial law, sending them on one way trips far away, & disaster capitalism.

Also Palantir is so on the nose as a name for mister military AI’s company, since anyone in the Tolkien universe who even so much as touches a palantir is instantly corrupted, as the device lets Sauron enter your mind & bend you to his will.
The implication is that Theil sees himself as Sauron.

One of the things that unnerves me, other than the myriad of dark fantasy uses and blatant theft/plagiarism, is that too many lefties now think that it is inevitable & they can’t cede this territory to the hard right, even when the tech is literally controlled by far right oligarchs & a losing game.

Yeah but when you’re the ones trying to kill people who are begging you not to kill them, “yeah but we’re all gonna die” sounds sociopathic at best, psychopathic at worst.

All the supremacist court needed was to defang the VRA and continue massive voter suppression efforts and new Jim Crow laws. The Dems wouldn’t even fight Manchin and Synema to restore MLKs VRA legacy, they keep trying to work with what’s left. But they won’t even end the war on drugs voter purge
comment in response to

+ The 2000 election was stolen w/ a brooks brothers riot, voter purges by the brother of a candidate & SCOTUS. 2016 election purged 7.6 million minority voters so he could eek by with 80k votes over 3 states. McConnell stole Obama’s seat to little objection and the corporate media shut down debate.

The disabled community is also 26% of the nation, conservadems who fail to talk to them as such & make fun of MFA or removing profit from healthcare like Buttigieg cost us the largest minority voter block voting as a voting block.
Dems cant compromise w/ the “sacrifice the disabled” party at all.

It can’t be stated enough that Biden losing to Manchin & Synema, especially over the VRA and the hundreds of voter suppression bills that followed cost Dems the election.
Running to meet conservatives in the middle to get one extra whidentity pol voter while they are busy courting the klan is dumb

He’s also getting help from the House who are trying to remove any regulation on billionaire owned GenAi propaganda machines in the Big Billionaire Bill and upend copy-write law for machine learning to destroy the arts like the Brits. Like him, these programs refuse credit, compensation & consent

We artists have been the first to lose out to this dumbass tech for the lazy and stupid. We are the low hanging fruit that proves what these unthinking machines do. They steal human work, & at best make a collages of our IP to be owned and sold by billionaires hoping to upend copy-write. Humans lie.

They can keep writing MAHA but all I ever read when I see it is Make America HATE Again. Thats how we learned it during the first disastrous term of the Koup Kovid Kleptocracy.
And it consistantly comes out of the mouths of the people promoting a test phase for a eugenics program.

They must fire the Carville wing of the Dems. He just helped beat the progressive (D) senate candidate Chambers in La & helped former(D) Kennedy(R) win reelection by keeping him from being the sole party candidate running (R) spoiler Mixon as a (D). Fake Redneck whispers in mansions are not needed.

The Dems piss off their base & tell them to sit down and shut up every election while they court a group of voters who sympathize w/ klan messaging.
Seeing Cheneys on stage convinces the base that the fix is in for the policies they need getting killed before a vote, & Harris is for single payer.
comment in response to

Voters have to believe they won’t get screwed for donor class policy again.
The base isn’t interesting in compromising with a coup loving neoconfederate party that’s promised violence, dictatorship, and camps for us. We want someone who can recognize and call out the Klan when they see it.

Good, Dems need someone people believe will enact Medicare for All, Disabled community is 26% of the US and have loved ones voting with them. Debt free college/childcare & climate catastrophe mitigation are required for the youth vote we can’t win without.
Moderates who dissed these policies lose.

The notion of, “it’ll ruin my business not be able to rob your business” is the stupidest sentiment the wealthy could utter. It’s a, “Fuck you were gonna take it regardless of what you do or say if it’s legal or illegal. Then we’ll buy politicians to make it legal. We are wealth you are starving.”

Says the man who said Facebook didn’t scrap people’s info.
Every response they give is to steal it and then pose a phoney “opt out” after it’s already trained on the stolen work. It’s a smash n grab
And no one in media is asking if they can remove training data or if they forget? They can’t.

Yet the grand wizard in the White House can’t even hurdle this low bar. They own Billionaire Ai propaganda machines, corporate news are in the tank for them, promised days of extreme violence and are purging the government of opposition.
You can’t have a dictatorship & Earth’s top currency.

They had a neo-confederate coup and purged millions of minority voters to eek by their “wins” every election since 2000. Confederates don’t respect legal authority they respect authoritarianism, racism, & kleptocracy.
The 5stolen justices are taking turns flirting with full on dictatorship.

Will they put his name on the letters canceling peoples kids healthcare like they do when our party funds relief checks or cancels student loans?
The profit is the core problem in our healthcare system though. When one medicine in your house cost $215k every 6months it’s time to upend the system.

We lose elections when wealthy criminals don’t face prison. All the treasury raiders need prison time, yet we all doubt they will see even a day of it.
DOJ let 5 coup attempts slide. We lost. DOJ refused to punish the wealthy responsible for the 07 crash. We lost. Brooks bros riot? We lost.

They campaigned to the Klan, who controls the regressive party in my state La. But we’re surprised when they govern like it?
Why does the state party who ran David Duke for gov have such an oversized national voice?
Stolen courts, VRA, voter purges, threats, long lines, billionaire Ai socials, ect.

The Big Billionaire Buyout?

Cheapest MS disease modifiers cost $80K per year. Others like Ocrevus cost $215k per 6months.
So what happens when the bill to cap Rx prices to what other nations pay fails when the (R)s vote it down in favor of an executive order that triggers a lawsuit & injunction from big pharma? 3 card Monty?

On this subject, Ask a New Orleanian about what happened here 20 years ago during Katrina. Most have stories that would curdle your blood. We are the citizens who actually lived under martial law.
We learned that party had 0 interest in it’s citizens two decades ago, & the US still voted to be La.

It’s probably my closer to %15 that chooses the president counting kids. %40 of the nation are kids, of the remaining %60 half don’t vote, of the remaining %30 half vote for each party.
We won our off year election in La. against Jeff Klandry’s amendments with %20 turn out, they expected %12 FTW.

I don’t want to hear people who tried to cancel tens of millions of Americans healthcare plans, bringing back lifetime caps, & preexisting conditions 50+ times talk about making anyone healthy.
I think what the sacrifice the disabled to covid party mean to say is Take America’s Healthcare Again.

The entire Republican Party is unsure if they want due process for anyone. Or if they want to purge the country of every human that doesn’t fit into their narrow way of life. Or if they want a dictator so long as he’s their dictator.
They sided with 5 separate coup attempts, but demand legitimacy.

Don’t move the goal posts. That’s an excuse for giving a dictator the power of the purse. Which you said it didn’t do. I showed it does, you can just say, “my bad”.
Sounds you seem to be just now learning what a CR is. Try correcting someone else who doesn’t read.

A man who gave that salute to the nation shouldn’t have lists of every American to do as he pleases. Nor should he have unilateral ability to cancel agencies created by Congress from an agency not created by Congress.

You should probably look up the bill in question here H.R. 1968 it may have originated with Mike Johnson and the Dump. It absolutely ceded the house powers to the executive allowing DOGE cuts, and Tariffs.
Here’s congresswoman Hoyle saying what I just did.

Carefully worded letters as redress from a constitutional crisis is weakness. Maybe give someone with a spine a shot at leadership. You’re fighting the klan, act like it.

People used to work hard to actually be intelligent, now they’d rather fight the intelligent people whose creative work powers the robots they use to fake intelligence.
They want our powers without any of the discipline required to learn how to wield it, which is dangerous for any kind of power.

The first term made similar cuts in 2017 to CDC, NIH, WHO, and others that led directly to a pandemic then they asked the disabled to, “sacrifice themselves for HIS economy.”
“Heritage” proposed many cuts to kill or disable the at risk. Kennedy fit that agenda. It’s a party wide eugenics problem.

I was 10 in 89-90 election of David Duke for Governor of Louisiana & I still know who voted for him. My kid is now 10 & will likely remember who voted for this neoconfederacy. I got my inoculation to klanshit back then, & living through Katrina’s martial law response was one hell of a booster.

Thank you. The MS Rx prices are price gouging. In our house we get to see the cost of Ocrevus is billed around $215,000 every 6months w/o insurance. The cheapest disease modifier is around $80k per year.
The median income is $40k per year. We have moved far past, “a choice between food and Rx”.
