As we approach the return of Donald Trump as POTUS, I strongly encourage anyone who is a LPR (green card holder) to take all steps to become a US citizen as soon as possible. The draconian immigration actions that Trump is threatening under the Alien & Sedition Acts sweep in LPRs, but not citizens.
