Just now reading this book. As a native Detroiter and huge Dilla fan I appreciate that it is a love letter to both the man and the city.

"They ...don't want it handed to anyone else at their expense". They are racists and will vote to shoot themselves in the foot as long as they think it keeps America white.

Fortunate to have a very knowledgeable and practical doc. She said you probably do have have autism, but at 56, the cost for the official diagnosis may not be worth it, as you are already independent and have a great job. The diagnosis is used to help people thrive, and you already are!

And how well has this hating on Trump strategy worked? Oh right, it hasn't and dems have used it since 2016 and still keep doubling down on it. Time for me to leave this losing party.

You mean OUR run is over. If you're going to hate on someone just because they met with him once and disregard all she's done for the state than you are as stupid as the MAGAts think you are. Newsflash: Dems and MAGAts share the same concerns, but they believe anything Trusk tells them. Do better.

Fellow Michigander and totally agree.

Democrats aren't leading anything, and I'm one of them. They have been a YUGE disappointment.

And you can wave goodbye to winning the White house ever if your sole reason to cross anyone of you "list" is that they met with Trump once. I am a Michigander and a Democrat and it's a purple state. Country before party.

It's trending in truncated form on FB, just the original without explaining WHY this method is a problem

This ended up in comments, so in case you didn’t see this, this has nothing to do with tariffs. It’s all about the fact that the US buys a lot of stuff from around the world, a thing that Trump, in his tiny little mind, believes he must fix by making it so that we can’t buy anything.

that is the goal-to kill public education and breed stupid obedient slave labor

These gradate students also contribute to the US research output and pay on average 3X in-state tuition, so they literally make it possible to keep in-state tuition lower. Another nail in the coffin of public education. Way to go Nazis.

Bullshit.

This post cherry picks the data on democrats. What about ACA? Livable wages? Addressing climate change? Unionizing? Campaign finance reform? Education for all? All very popular. At least be honest.

Honestly would have been more surprised to find that they weren't.

Respectfully disagree. Biden did much mroe to beenfit middle class than Trump ever did. There is a fundamental difference between Harris and Trump voters that has nothing to do with the economy or crypto. They are threatened by powerful women, particularly those of color. They lack empathy also.

That's the problem. NIH funding is much cheaper than private medical research.
