Ah yes - the fear of the over-qualified interim, who may expose one’s own ineptitude…

Absolutely - I had a very quiet period and suddenly found myself spinning several opportunities; hopefully some sanity returns!

For sure - we’re all Laura at some point(s) in our lives

I was obsessed with this song at time of release; managed to clear it from my brain - and now it’s back. It’s a beaut! ❤️

This happens to me on a semi-regular basis; a slow descent into the kind of soundscape that film makers use just after an explosion has gone off, to show the muffled disorientation of the people nearby. Get my ears jetwashed and the world returns to glorious Dolby surround sound. Rinse/repeat

Quite possibly - I’ll let you know in a week or so

I have to tell myself that everyone who watches it does so ironically

Same - I always watch the original with subtitles, convinced that by the end, I will be fluent. Currently speed learning Spanish via Snow Girl

Superb aren’t they? I’ve been a cheerleader for years! Babylon Berlin is your next stopping off point - brilliant stuff 👌

Not just me then; I drove past this sign in 2015 - stopped the car and reversed 200 metres to take this picture, which I retain to this day 🤷🏻‍♂️

Drinking unspecified ‘green juice’ and yelling obscenities at their beleaguered assistants

Seconded - it’s a mad and brilliant record

My Da, a Belfast boy, shared a surname with, and had a striking resemblance to, Luke Kelly of The Dubliners. He showed us a picture on the back of an album and said he’d loved his time in the band. I believed him until I was in my late teens

Pope Hummus IV - I will be a pope for the poor, the worker and the marginalised. But I will continue to shield child abusers and ignore the plight of victims, obvs

I had a period of downtime after finishing a big job a few years ago, so did one of these in my local park to fill some time. Main guy was a former Marine PT or some such. It was brutally awful. Have fun! 😂

I’ve played the keytar in Make Me an Offer since 1986. Our lawyers will be in contact tomorrow

I was in my 50’s when I first heard this album; I had studiously and deliberately ignored prog up to that point. A friend played me a beaut copy on a high end system and it blew my mind. I wish I could listen to it for the first time over and over 🙌
