What a polite way to say that the pigeons were hungry ...

What are you supposed to do? Folks .... look at other countries and their ongoing mass protests against corruption and injustice. You are SUPPOSED TO RIOT! Get your asses out on the street, people. Cowards don't make history. Not good history, anyway.

George. It is who you already are. Americans need to stop talking about what is going to happen ... They need to stop clutching their pearls and get their lethargic asses out on the streets. This shit is going down. This is exactly who you are.

You might want to chat with an orthopod or sports med specialist ... My partner went through this so I have some idea as to what fresh hell it is ... It might well be that an injection of steroid is just the ticket (I am NOT an orthopod .... )

Is this a frozen shoulder? Because sometimes an injection can help that. Not clear if it is the injection of fluid that liberates the adhesions, the local anaesthetic they put in at the same time allowing you to mobilize, or the steroid. You are not alone though ...sleep dep / pain is hard.

Amongst others. It has been more than a decade. A group of us would just wander the eastern shore and stop wherever the map / view seemed to be telling us to :).

And I expect nothing less from Americans.

Actually, yes. If pp is elected and is a Russian asset who puts brown people on planes in chains, threatens my LGBTQ+ neighbors, puts kids in cages, destabilizes allies, slashes social security, disables governmental departments? Yes. I will be on the streets, and part of that revolution.

Honestly? If progressive perfectionists do to this election what they did to Kamala Harris, the rest of us will never forgive them. Argue for better policies. Be strategic, sure. But a progressive vote thrown away is a vote for Pollievre. Don't doubt it.

Thank you. What, exactly, does that mean? Have you been out on the streets at the protests? Have you written you ejected officials? Signed petitions, or registered complaints against complicit companies? Because ... Thank you for your words. They are, however, meaningless by themselves.

We have to accept that the USA is an enemy ... An aggressor who, so far, has only resorted to economic weaponry.

I am sorry, but I couldn't disagree more. The numbers showing up at demonstrations are a trivia fraction of the population, and, largely, these are performative events that have next to no impact. Any reasonable population would have been in the streets and shutting down government long ago.

Ariel, I don't think it is prejudice. The numbers showing up at demonstrations are a miniscule fraction of the population. Most "reasonable" Americans are on their screens, eating popcorn, wishing someone would take care of this. I won't be their apologist. They deserve our disdain.

If Britain is to play a leading role, frankly, it must stop kissing Trump ass. Like ... come meet the King? Like ... questions about annexing an ally read as "trying to find a division that isn't there"? Grow a pair, Britain. Performative hugs in front of Number Ten are simply not enough.

Soon ... we outsiders hope ....

Totally understand this. I, on the other hand, skipped our 7 years in team to an ugly loss against a team of relative newbs. I need a drink!

Yes. And I am sure someone with your background will acknowledge the profound impact US policies have on whale mortality. Or is "drill baby drill" considered marine ecology benign now? You folks have enough to do at home. It is truly tone deaf to be lecturing other countries right now.

THIS. ABSOLUTELY.

David. I am not in favour of killing whales. I am also not in favour of imposing, or even snarkily commenting, on another nationality's traditions and livelihood. Especially on Iceland, which kicks ass globally in so many ways. And ... sorry ... but especially not from Americans. Not right now.
