An appealing solution, even in jest, but we need to stand with Lincoln by opposing tyrants and for upholding the Union, one and indivisible.

I believe that even if the files were released and showed Trump had sex with underage girls, the MAGA cultists would still support Trump.

Now that's delusional.

I'm okay with that.

Well Hannity said his shoow was more about entertainment than news, and nothing has been more entertaining today than the Trump-Musk fight. I guess tough guy Sean Hannity is too scared to cover it.

I don't think William Wilberforce would be considered a stoic given his Christian faith which fueled his passion for social justice.

A rather futile gesture given the fact it will never get 2/3rd vote in either house of Congress.

Roberts is also uniquely prepared to stop it as Chief Justice. My hope is that he will do so by upholding limits on Trump’s power grab in cases which come before the Court. Ruling against Trump on a case where the public supports the decision will make it harder for Trump to defy the court.

He represents the state of Arkansas because enough of the voters there are stupid enough to believe that he represents their best interests.

The other half is that enough people who heard the truth didn't believe it.

Don't worry. Most of those members of Congress who say they are Christian don't act like it. 😆

But here we are, and it is our solemn duty to honor those who secured our freedom to oppose this present tyrant with all lawful means at our disposal.

In 2001 it was the George W. Bush administration which broke the 50 year tradition of having the ABA pre-screen judicial nominations. Accordingly, it's sadly not a new play in the GOP playbook to politicize judicial nominations. The GOP has been undermining our republic before Trump.
