I want Justin Hartley to be cast as another villain just so the three live-action Aquamen can all team up lol

One of my favorite bits of writing is when Ethan tells Claire Jim's dead & asks who sent her, and she says "Jim..." It sounds like she's in shock her husband died but the placement has to be a clue, because he definitely did send her.

It's the most helped by The Choice retcon though, since no one is at all surprised Sean goes bad.

Adopting a new director's style each time was the point though.

Luke talks to Yoda like he's finally returned to finish if I recall correctly. Luke got all of one lesson in lightsaber fighting (& just blocking lasers, not even fencing) onscreen & was able to keep up with Vader for a bit. Rey's fighting skills were established earlier in her movie.

And Luke explicitly stops his training in Empire prematurely (with nothing in the movie claiming he spent any longer there than the Falcon's escape) & doesn't go back to Dagobah to finish it. The Force isn't about training to level up skills, it's about opening yourself to it.

Anakin's the only human who can podrace because the Force gives him the ability to see the future, "sharpening his instincts." Luke destroys the Death Star not because of his ability to shoot or pilot but because he opens himself to the Force. Rey was similarly open to it, being a fan of the legends

Acolyte seemed ready to go there, but I wish SW would finally dig into the Jedi Order's flaws without also apparently needing them to be the only good Force-users. Being a prequel wouldn't have let Acolyte resolve the issues, but it's weird they keep walking up to them & not working to reform them.

Particularly now that we have Miles & Gwen to do the younger Spider-man stories. Someone else said it first, but Peter taking on more responsibility as a husband & father makes perfect sense for his character.

& if the reason's "he hasn't figured himself out yet," I don't buy it. Both Smallville & My Adventures with Superman have younger Clarks who struggle with finding their place in the world, but still have a core understanding of who they are. The problem's not the darkness IMO, it's the indecision.

My problem with that is it felt like (especially in BvS) Snyder didn't want him to publicly stand up for himself. He says nothing while dourly floating over catastrophes, blowing up the Senate is the choice over debating his actions, he can't even answer Lex's rant with "I'm not a god."

The multiverse saga already had an ending in Loki 2. The multiverse was restored to its natural state & the Kangs are on lockdown.
