I need to extend my argument previously made here... if the US wants to compete with China effectively, it must adequately resource the proxy war it is fighting in Ukraine - which is a proxy war against China as much as it is with Russia.

Soldier Ethos > Warrior Ethos.
Marine Ethos > Warrior Ethos.
We should embrace the professional core of what we do.
But if we're gonna LARP, Marines will win every time.

So now it's about being most ready when the nation is least ready.... And defending federal property and personnel is GTG, but sea denial isn't offensive or maneuver warfare enough for us.

Kuma Academy aims to promote #civil defense in #Taiwan. From their website: "War is not a matter for a few people; defending Taiwan is the responsibility of every Taiwanese. Everyone has the ability and responsibility to contribute in the war." 2/ kuma-academy.org/about?lang=en

I, too, must often diagnose patients with ' #Amphibious Dissonance', also known as the ' #CJFEO Paradox', in which the same person will simultaneously think the following:
1. A #US-ROK amphib assault into #nK is infeasible.
2. A #PRC amphib assault into #TWN is unstoppable.

Smoot, knowing full well the KMT #bugged the phones in his residence:
"If we were imprudent enough to talk about classified matters any place except in the most secure places... then we deserved being heard. And we deserved having our secrets passed to them."

BZ to all who participated, and honors to those who completed the NFM to standard. Thanks to Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) for their assistance with our #comms experimentation, and to @norwayinusa.norway.no for their assistance in sponsoring and approving this event.

In addition, our base station established a #C2 node, issued each participant an appropriate puck, and loaded applications on cell phones enabling TAK integration and other experimentation. This facilitated better tracking for event safety while also demonstrating #command and #control potential.

Hiking to the NFM standard of 18.6 miles with an assault load under a time constraint, those who completed the march to standard earned the bronze NFM badge. Also depicted is part of our planned march route, which included significant elevation gains through the East Miramar training area.

This is achieved by combining physical duress, a cognitively complex task based around decisions, and enemy imposed pressure and tempo. This spin simply emphasizes more #fighting and a greate r team based approach to the overall challenge. #ThinkFightWin
