And the scene where the crowd sings their anthem was such a nice nod to the dislocated French singing in front of Nazi officers in Casablanca.

I'm glad this is being brought to public attention. Very scary and undermines basic human rights.

This poses difficulties on so many levels. There could be huge differences in the safety of meat from state to state--and how will consumers know which states their meat is coming from? May be time to find out where your closest local meat producer and farmer's market is located.

You know who is really going to be happy about this? Listeria and E. coli! And the little pieces of metal that sometimes get into ground meat.

“Viewpoint” is so vague-not all viewpoints are political. And I guarantee there will be pronounced likemindedness amongst majors. Engineers tend to think like engineers-architects like architects, etc. This is like the dumbest assignment ever from your worst professor-if it weren’t so dangerous.

Kerning, too. Typeface, line-height, kerning, margins, and width of text content all need to work together. But bad kerning and line-height are the biggest culprits for impossible to read text.

A few months ago I took a 7 hour greyhound bus trip with a stop over at the Kansas City MO bus station, no less. People were way nicer than most of my flying experiences-so money might not be the issue. Maybe it was the bus driver’s “I will dump you on the side of the road” speech before starting😊

I'm a retired Director of an ADANN regional center, so I'm very familiar with NIDILRR. Any suggestions as to how I can best help?

ACL agencies and grant programs are efficient and productive. Programs like meals on wheels get services to the people that need them on the ground. The ADA Centers have done the same saving countless small businesses a lot of money and helping the disability community!

I’m glad you are describing the protesters as patriots. Because that is what they are!

Excellent interview. And a good reminder that a person could be denied almost anything-a job, entry to a store, renting a house, etc. simply because of disability. No other reason required.

Yes! I was the Director of an ADA Center (pre-retirement), so my life's work has been implementing a civil rights law for people with disabilities. Right away, I understood that the real goal of the R. party in its current form is to stop enforcing, weakening, or eliminating most Civil Rights laws.

Really good point. This may be a better way to go. I don’t need to be right. I just want us to do the most effective thing possible!

I wasn't advocating restraint as much as theatre--creating strong optics and strong contrast through a visual protest that might be powerful on camera. I hear you though on Democrats waiting too long to respond to the existential crisis we are in right now.

I like walking out quietly one by one. It prolongs the protest, but also looks like Democrats are respectful and in control of themselves. A party ready and able to lead without chaos.

Marginally related, but not too long ago I drove by a Tesla truck and my granddaughter yelled “Look Nana, somebody turned a dumpster into a car!”

Good for you! I live in Missouri and grew up about an hour outside of Springfield. That area is as red as it gets-but any exposure to good candidates starts to chip away at the myth that anything not MAGA is “evil”.
