afternoon kiln cracking! first up is the shino mugs - got some gorgeous all over carbon trapping (the black bits), not as much orange as i was hoping for but i did put it on a bit thicker. bottom of the first mug shows some interesting variation in the reduction #pottersaurus #pottery #ceramics

The Balinese-inspired Ogoh-ogoh festival of Hobart’s Dark Mofo involves writing your fears on a slip of paper. When the enormous, endangered beast is burned, it takes your fears with it. This year’s beast (made in Bali) is the Maugean skate, under threat from Tasmania’s salmon farming.
