Exactly as I said after the blackout: voltage regulation was issue, not a lack of spinning inertia, as so many quickly speculated (or asserted). It was an off peak spring day, plenty of cheap solar available, and the grid operator cut it too close, failed to commit sufficient voltage regulation.🔌💡

Lander is incorrect that a judicial warrant is required (only an administrative warrant), but ICE refuses even to show him that, which is outrageous. If they have a warrant, they should show it. If they don't, they don't have arrest authority. But him holding on to the guy... could be trouble.

IRAN stations are still mostly working Yesterday 13 STATIONS recorded more than 49C max ! and one >50C (50.3C). Next 2 days the heat is expected to get even worse. Currently around 60% of the country has not problem with electricity supply but 40% does.
