Last anecdote for the night... I had planned on releasing the novel on 5/1 (Mayday!) but bungled it so it came out 4/30 instead.
I've got no problems with Walpurgis and have since come to embrace it as lucky.

The keys magically showed up in lost&found the next day, making me imagine some MF going through the parking lot checking every car.
My first treatment was more of a straight-up slasher, before I hit on the characters.

We go back to the theater right away, they let us look around, but the keys are solid gone and not at lost and found. Luckily I wasn't the one driving...
