Let his insecurities get in the way of his solidarity. What a dipshit

No, they’re guaranteed the same floor on the revenue split, but they added a ceiling when one didn’t exist previously

AFAIK it’s because the unions negotiating team is made up of second tier stars and the owners weaponized those players’ insecurity about supermax players and big 3s to convince them this would be good for “middle-class” players

Liberals have a very strange conception of politics where “electability” is a unknowable, ephemeral quality entirely unrelated to how good a candidate is at campaigning
comment in response to post
So “3 term state legislator” doesn’t count as experienced now?
comment in response to post
Yeah, how dare left wingers vote for their candidates! Only centrists are allowed to do that

To be followed by the #NotAllNuts backlash

You’re omitting an important detail: his balls were out too

That photo choice sure is something

I wonder how much of that was over-correction/misunderstanding the criticisms of MGS4

Blue state dem parties and the national party are significantly less competent and/or care less about achieving left-of -center goals than purple/red state parties
comment in response to post
They just dropped all of their anti-racism iconography on Trumps request

Even good comics shops are weird little hobbyist stores

Welcome, WNBA fan, to the big leagues. Grow thicker skin
comment in response to post
What? I never said that at all. I like football, regardless of league, it’s just that the team I’m a fan of plays in the NFL
comment in response to post
Seriously, why do CC fans affect your enjoyment so much?
comment in response to post
I’ll watch it if it’s on, the same way I would college football or a Bengals game
comment in response to post
I’m sorry, I just assumed as a Gen Z American she had an extraneous Y somewhere in her name
comment in response to post
Uh, tough shit? Why do those people live in your head? Just enjoy the games lol
comment in response to post
The way you guys reflexively revert to idpol based defensiveness is very KHive/stan-Twitter type behavior
comment in response to post
That’s weird as hell lol. Why do you care so much about the specific league???
comment in response to post
I don’t get why you believe this to be a phenomenon unique to WNBA basketball and Caitlyn Clark
comment in response to post
Yes there are. You can literally see it in ticket prices and Nielsen ratings. Hundreds of thousands of people became less likely to watch laker games when Kobe retired, and hundreds of thousands started watching when LBJ came into town
comment in response to post
There really does seem to be some friction between WNBA fans and broader sports fans (usually men) and your side credits it to prejudice, which is present, but the broader problem is that you guys have a very different idea of fandom than other sports fans
comment in response to post
You don’t have to hand it to those people, even when they’re infighting
comment in response to post
Then why didn’t you say that instead of “longtime fan of the W”? I’d never say that I was an NFL fan lol. I’m a Niners fan. And people are fans of single players all the time. Do the names Kobe, LeBron, MJ ring any bells? Plenty of people are fans of them before being a fan of their teams/league
comment in response to post
Oh, you mean the libbing out over Carlson and MTG. Enh, that’s normal MSNBC brain stuff, I just think she’s not thinking about it that hard
comment in response to post
You’re gonna have to spell that one out for me
comment in response to post
Can I just point out that it’s weird to be a fan of a sports league rather than a fan of a team or player. That’s not how normal people interact with sports
comment in response to post
I don’t see what you mean. She seems like a mainline liberal who I broadly agree with on social and political issues
comment in response to post
You guys have gone beyond the pale and are defending anti-sportspersonlike behavior simply because it happens to CC. That is weird as hell, and I can only guess that it’s because you guys are WNBA fans before you’re women’s basketball fans
comment in response to post
I really think the most viscerally upsetting thing about congresspeople is how obviously they loath the idea of doing their jobs
comment in response to post
Ive always wondered if if the hamfistedness of the anti-gun centrists is the cause of the polarization or if that was pretty much always gonna happen
comment in response to post
It’d help if they were actually sold at places kids go instead of weird little hobbyist shops frequently managed by gatekeeping dorks
comment in response to post
Just out of curiosity, do you watch other sports? Defending Mabrey here is beyond the goddamn pale
comment in response to post
She pushed away an opposing player who just eyeraked her, that does not permit a full speed blindside in response
comment in response to post
You guys are so eager to prove the self evident point that women’s sports are equally valid so hard that you’ve wrapped around to permitting anti-sportspersonlike behavior. It’s deranged
comment in response to post
No, you should get tossed and suspended for a post whistle blindside or an eye rake. In any sport, to any gender or race of player
comment in response to post
And that’s a bad thing! It’s not ok to attempt to hurt defenseless players. You get ejected for an after whistle blindside like that in real collision sports like hockey or football, let alone basketball
comment in response to post
So your point is “hazing is ok”? Lmao
comment in response to post
What is with you weirdos and acting like she isn’t the most important thing to happen to women’s basketball since the WNBA got founded. She has single-handedly made an entire franchise independently financially viable and dramatically increased the value of the TV contract
comment in response to post
Are you shitting me? Draymond Green got suspending in the finals for sack tapping LeBron. If anyone bodychecked or eyeraked him, they’d get sent to gitmo lol
