I can imagine that 😂 although it seems he met Wirtz in person a couple weeks back and since then it's said Wirtz had his mind set, wonder if all the Bayern bluster has been damage limitation

Now I'm not saying klopp was never backed (he was) and the club continues to grow financially. However Edwards left for a reason and klopp was always happy with the squad. Couple that with how he led the club as the underdog and I wonder if that led to underwhelming transfer windows to

This little convo is absolutely spot on. In fact I don't think hanger has ever been heel. He took a dark path to protect his family and swerve was always the heel. It's like now, ospreay wants the title to gloat, hangman? He just wants to make people proud.

Hangman is the pure babyface for so many reasons and his 2 year spell of violent tendencies doesn't change that because it's what he perceived as correct. Ospreay just wants to gloat about his own personal goals and will align with what helps him get there, which is what he's always done

Couldn't disagree more if I'm honest. Hangman by the time of winning the title will be the purest of babyfaces, we are seeing it with the promos where ospreay is taking sly digs at hangman. Plus as much as I like ospreay, I can't stand hearing Bruv every sentence 😂

Best wrestler in the world is ospreay in terms of in ring but hangman is hands down the best wrestler in the world from an all round point of view, the promos, the character work, the in ring ability. Only comparable is Toni storm! God I hope hangman wins. Plus I like ospreay but less "Bruv" 😂

What's incredible to me as well is the now reported fact that it was Slots vision that he presented to Wirtz that convinced him to join us over Bayern.

Moving them on means they then have to be replaced because of the home grown quota especially with Kelleher leaving as well. Jones has made 45 appearances and nearly 2,500mins this season

Absolutely mate, I was looking at if from the view point of seeing Liverpool fans say if they are willing to spend money on wirtz then they should spend it on isak instead but with his injury record it makes zero sense

For me it's Hangman, simply because ospreay should win it all in 2026 at Wembley Stadium. The Brit who should be walking in with a title though is Jamie Hayter

Downed tools would be for players who are playing in a bad team and want the manager sacked or to leave. The players are playing nowhere near their level due to an early holiday, something they get very rarely these days in modern football

Don't think Jones is anywhere near a fringe player and showed more than enough in the season. Plus homegrown quota can't be forgotten

Not in the UK either by the looks of it

Just seen a few reports on it but that also comes with the caveat of reports that feel Frimpong can play on the wing. Perhaps they have winger targets in case of Diaz leaving

I agree with that although it looks like the club want a winger and a 10 aswell. So it's really hard to say just how many players we sign this summer

Tough tbh, I think Bayern are always in the driving seat for a German player but the fact that our interest hasn't been cooled off like Man City and the more worried nature of the Bayern press release/interview over the weekend, makes me wonder if we are in fact in pole position

Was a hallmark of Edwards before and Hughes seems to be of the same mould, smart, early deals taking advantage of good value.

I think the problem here was the uncertainty around firstly a long term director of football and then Klopps announcement to leave. They undoubtedly threw a spanner in the works and for the likes of Ibou and Trent, seems Madrid/PSG have been tapping them up behind close doors
