Makes sense but I didn't know Hillary let Bill use her hit squad.

It's worse we dropped $300 million on a target we knew or should have known was empty.

Yes the original poster correctly said when/if we are ever in power we should expand and I agree. I was responding to the poster who inferred the current Democrats won't expand the court because of the 2026 mid-terms.

Umm, expansion of the court in the next 4 years would ensure this conservative shit show for decades.
The court is horrible but any attempt to expand it with Trump, Vance or Johnson in the oval office makes it worse.

On No Kings day I had to drive up North to a graduation, It took me through both the Portland and Tacoma events. What struck me was that in both places the crowd seemed dominated by "gray hairs". I suspect a lot of the the signs were recycled "Hell No We Wont Go" and "Make Love Not War".

Rocky won best picture Oscar. The sequels, not so much.

I wonder if Israel and the US have considered that they may already have some from Russia or NK. It's easier to buy/barter then to build.
Israel, Iran, Russia, NK, the US are right at the top of the list of countries not to trust with a nuclear weapon yet I bet they all now have them.

Jews and Muslims of any skin color. Chinese and Koreans. Socialists, Communists, Democrats. People who have studied American history beyond the 4th grade.

I would be absolutely shocked if Iran does not already have Russian built nuclear weapons. Why develop your own when you can trade some drones for state of the art turnkey ones? So she may be right about them not developing one.
The worst countries to have Nukes already have them.

My bad. The instructions on these home reactor kits have really tiny print. Should have stuck to solar I guess.

He wasn't Vice President until 1945, 3 years after Pearl Harbor and was only in the FDR Administration for 3 months total before Roosevelt died.

I agree with you. I had low expectations for the remake but it blew them away. For an action "Sci-Fi" series it is one of the best.

Mine is building things since I semi-retired 5 years ago (40 hours of work instead of 70). Among other things I now have 4 storage sheds so I can store all my tools to build more sheds.

Yeah, that was used in against them in their sentencing and is held against them by the vast majority of people to this day. Never let the J6 clowns be your role model.

Yes. The Confederate flags were a huge stupid messaging mistake on their part. It left a lasting negative image in the minds of the vast majority of Americans and made their claims of being American Patriots look ridiculous.

All yes, I ran into many a monster parent. My own brother-in-law was the nicest guy in the world until first pitch, tip or serve than it was time to move to the other side of the gym.
Fortunately the kids did great, sports wise, academically, in financial assistance and post grad careers.

Thanks. I do understand that going 3 for 3 is not the norm. But the 1 in 9 thing for parents thinking their kid are going pro strikes me as an absurdity. Maybe they just polled the parents at the Elite 11 football camp or the McDonald's BB Games.

All true but, three college athletes in my family, 2 nieces and a grandson. What you describe for the parents is true. But the goal was always college money and fun. Never about being Pros. It was a great success for all 3. The parents have zero regrets.

I'm replacing the barbecue in my backyard with a propane casting foundry. If I get it running by July 4th I'll be pretty comfortable hitting my 5 year plan. US steel production will be through the roof once my neighbors try to keep up with me.

The founders didn't trust the voting populous at all. There was no popular vote for President in the original constitution. The state legislatures were supposed to select electors who would then select a President without falling prey to a crooked populist. Didn't work in practice.

Something seamed really odd. At least 2 ICE, a DEA agent and 2 FBI agents to serve an administrative warrant. If that is what it takes to do one arrest they'll need 50 million Feds to reach Trumps immigration goals.
