And they're going to treat us all like dogs, but not in the pampered way.

We all stim in different ways. Some of us flap our hands. Some of us hum or sing. Some of us...um...yikes.

Genuinely, at best, that kid is wildly out of touch and naive. AT BEST.

I'm not normally one to say this, but...if you weren't there, what you have a right to say on the subject is kinda limited. We lost something important and tangible, not simply an amusing diversion.

Exactly this. I had a well curated feed there and my page here gives me a lot of the same vibes. I keep forgetting to log in, though. πŸ˜…

No folks left on streets should be the new requirement for any of them to keep their tax exempt status.

Um, hello, how are your eyebrows so perfect, though? 🀩

My hot take isn't a hot take: vaccines aren't enough, you also need to still be masking. We're not either or on this, it's a both!

It's another empty, meaningless signal. I'm not cutting off my access to community and education to send a message that won't even be received. If they were targeting just Meta, I'd get that, but this feels like BS to me. Reminds me of October '23, oh, just look away, it's too much...no!

Okay, but hold on now...if they were antifa, would that make them self-hating fascists? πŸ€”

I hate to burst your bubble (I'm lying, I'm going to love this) but long COVID didn't stop dropping new cases when the vaccines came out. Keep getting vaccinated, keep masking, and stop spreading bad public health messages.

I saw a Bluesky post making fun of how people from TikTok talk. They were mostly mocking colloquialisms more common with the youth and Black American English. They couldn't even hate an app without collateral damage.

That's so rough, I'm sorry. Wishing you the best possible long term outcome.

A reduced risk doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I know people with long COVID who were vaccinated. Keep up on your vaccines but also keep up on masking, it's not worth the risk.

Was coming here to mention this episode. I reference this case a lot when I smell boot on the breath.

Vaccines don't prevent long COVID so she could be vaccinated, as she should be.

So they admit men can be pretty scary sometimes, right?...r-right?

Can, will, and do. If it doesn't apply, they can let it fly.

We don't? Starting when?

I cherish a years old memory I have of someone walking up to me with a petition to block construction of a bike lane. I'd just parked in the area that would, well, no longer be parking. She was absolutely shocked that I was fine with the idea of having to find somewhere else to put my car...

It feels like the next door neighbor of "I don't see color". You don't see gender, really? Well honey, let's get you to a doctor, you may have a condition, because gender does exist. πŸ˜†

If it's a leftist, they lose interest. If it's one of theirs? Well now, might be some room for movement there. I think you're spot on.

Exactly this. Had to remind a friend of this just the other day. Even if this turns out not to be actually him, the lesson is the same - we don't know him, his motives, or his politics.

Why do you show me a soft baby that's too far away? 😭😭😭 I hope someone gets to give this cutie a forever home soon!

Please, dude's been camped out in a tent on the moon for the last week, that's obviously an old pic.

Stuff like this is why I won't see a doctor unless I'm unconscious and someone can force me. I'm more afraid of our "healthcare" than just dying.

I haven't made a single post of my own yet and I'm apparently blocked by like six people. I'm guessing that means six people on this app have seen one of my comments and read my name out loud. πŸ€”

Weaponizing homophobia, even at a foe, is still weaponizing homophobia and does more harm to our communities than their egos.

AI also uses a massive amount of power, making it terrible for the environment. Its use is undoing any progress we make.

Do you have a petty streak? I find the petty joy I get from denying someone the reaction they're going for really helps keep me grounded.

I left after he bought it. I'm glad to start finding fine folks like you to follow again and rebuild the kind of communities we all used to have before the bird app got completely set on fire.

I always consider it an orange flag when people don't call it Twitter. Not quite a red flag but I'm definitely keeping an eye on it. πŸ‘€
