Well we will have to have decent pint or 6 in the Ship beforehand and a G&T or bottle of wine or any old piss in the ground whilst we wait for the mayhem that is Sandhills station subsides. # Allplannedout

Bloody Hell, you did well there, that song and singer were crap. It was like a cat howling. I got my money back anyway. Next year, I must remember the Jewish vote.

Ha ha, there is a bit more, I was trying to find my mate, Tinhead, and ended up inside the posh parts of the stadium and on the balcony with the TV set up, Kenneth Wolstenholme (BBC) and Eamon Andrews (ITV). BTW, the setup was one cameraman and a microphone.

It was even better than that. We were on holiday camping in Cornwall and I blagged that as we were already down south I could get the overnight coach to London, (Victoria station) I then tubed it to Wembley and back then to Cornwall of course. Early viewing of “who is the greatest of them all…..”

My dad wasn’t into football but we had a shop on Townsend Lane so the event was big in the area so he got us (me) 2 season tickets for the paddock. It got us into the ballot and a ticket for the final which I went to on my own by coach, age 14. Yep it couldn’t happen these days.

What was the team? Was George Pickford in goal, I hear he has had a fractured wrist?

Remember everyone singing “ Bobby Latchford walks on water” in Lulu’s (Leigh Arms) afterwards.

How come you need the fire on, are you up in the mountains? It’s shirtsleeves and mid afternoon in Augusta (same state isn’t it?).

Yes, Walter Street and Great Howard Street is a good option so why on Earth did they give that guy a lifeguard chair and tell him to repeatedly shout out “City Centre Straight On”?

It was a deliberate calculated reality TV ambush that even The Jerry Springer Show would be ashamed of. Trump wanted to berate a petulant teenager to make himself look the big man. In many eyes he failed.

They had a stooge in the Oval Office sparking the “disrespect” thing over not wearing a suit. They knew full well that Zelensky doesn’t wear a suit out of respect for and in solidarity with his military who are at this very moment fighting for their very lives.

If you are going to the match for a night or Sunday game then stay away from the kn train.

He has exceptional strength when shrugging of challenges and once he gets into his stride he is deceptively fast at covering the ground. It would be a good bet that he is the quickest over 100 metres at the club. Strength and pace made those chances. They were his to miss.

Loved this vid as it was shot from where the boys pen used to be. Many a lad has swung from that girder. And yes, loved singing that song last night
